Ah, the well known rampers ailment called selective reading. The whole point of the post was that if ODx had ANY certainty of significant revenue from the contract they would have announced it, in fact they'd HAVE to announce it.

the contract is an open "on demand" type. With no indication of anticipated of volume, there is nothing on which to base a financial judgement.

It could be Screen4 simply retaining the option to cover all basis with no immediate plans to use the service.
Or it could be Screen4 needs the service right now at some level (including full capacity), but don't have enough visibility of requirements to commit to an on-going usage.

Or it could be anything in between those book-end positions.

But without even an indication of initial usage from ODX, a valuation can not be placed on it. Assuming a top price of say £40 a pop (a complete guess), it could return revenue between £0 and around £200K a week revenue. (AFAIR ODX can knock out 46K tests a weeks.)

I'm guessing if gov managed to find a way of tying testing to child support, the principled 30% would reduce to next to nothing.

Whats that got to do with anything? If its a 1 dose regime its 1 dose, you don't need a test to see if you can "get away" with one dose. If it's a 2 dose regime its 2 doses, there is no option to allow some people to "get away" with one dose via an antibody test.

Gov contract for "capacity" had no volume at all, but was RNSed.

Significant contracts are ALWAYS RNS-ed, because it is a market requirement, exactly because they affect future financials in
a significant way that was not previously advised to the market.

An RNS is not required to contain figures to be price sensitive.

The recent gov contact for capacity was announced via a full RNS, even though no figures of the contract were contained in it.

the antibody LFT contract is dead in the water, as I have suggested here for literally months, and was always way over hyped by those that were ramping the bejeeezes out of odx. Not only that, but it's now 2 weeks since the "unshackling" day of the 15th of feb, when the gov contract ended. Some were promoting endlessly drivel here that post 15th feb, RTC and hence ODX would announced multiple orders that they had pre-orders for and were prohibited from fulfilling due to the DHSC contract. So far, not one order noted by either abingdon or ODX.

The bit of informational news that odx announced today has zero to do with any on that.

You need to remove the wishful thinking hat and replace it with the reality hat. ODX under market regulations can NOT designated an RNS as 'NON' if it contains price sensitive information. If the information contained in an RNS is price sensitive it must be released as a full RNS.

The "NON" for those new to investing, is short for "NON-REGULATORY", it is a designation used to indicate that the news contained in it is informational only and does not contain price sensitive info.

as always stating the facts. Some have waxed lyrically saying how great this long term contract is, but forgot to mention that ODX themselves are telling you it's not price sensitive given the "NON" designation of the RNS.

This RNS is designated "RNS NON".

It means ODX was not required to announce this news under the rules, but decided to do so. Basically, "non" is used to indicate that an RNS does not contain price sensitive information.

You will note that none of the rampers decided to mention this, I guess as one recently posted, its to ensure that the postings on here are only ever positive for those that are newly invested !

So its good that ODX has gotten a customer for the Elisa test, but ODX is informing the market that its not price significant news. I hope it's not an exclusive contract, or using up all Elisa testing capacity, as otherwise whats the point if it has no underlying effect on the fortunes of the company.
