Also re-read the cancellation RNS and noted the last paragraph mentioned multiple future contracts. Putting 2 and 2 together (and probably not getting 4!) is this perhaps the 77Mill S. Asia contract 1st announced a couple of years ago?

The recent sp drop is understandable. In May we invested in a French start-up company - nothing wrong with that except we are a start-up company also!

My view is that we should first of all get growing profits from our basic USP and then take punts if we have to.

My concerns could of course be assuaged if we do actually break into high margin profits.

Had a very quick look at AUU but Fox's pathway ahead appears clearer. Stone Alliance is the Elephant.

I could well be wrong but when you look at the criteria there are certain quite complicated cross-overs. How important the difference is I'm clueless. Hi MaxM, Your query re normal information. Adastra's link took you to the TPG website which is a prime source of news and info.

RNS stands for Regulated News service and is a mandatory service, for which the company pays, to announce things like the coming and going of Directors, Directors share dealings, dates and results of AGMs and a host of other requirements. Regarding contracts and sales, if a deal is over 10% of turnover then it must be announced but I could have the wrong figure here.

Some companies are prepared to pay the fee and make other announcements for publicity purposes but basically the news section of most companies websites is worth keeping an eye on.

Reasonably upbeat RNS. Pity there was no clarification on revenue so far. My guess is a record year but not a lot of profit because of the increased costs.

Re Airbus - whether the wings are made in wales or the EU it should not effect HDD as long as our coating is chosen.

Last year we took a loan from a Director to increase quarry equipment. Happy to see that. We have apparently closed down one quarry and moved equipment to maximise another. Probably a pragmatic decision based on sales and revenue projections.

I'm guessing therefore that more quarry equipment is needed and probably more factory equipment so there is I think a requirement for more capital. But at long last we are capable of expanding from a commercial base.

Take a couple or three years to get there but now the way forward is clear. The elephant is Stone Alliance. We now have the beginnings of credence to drive this forwards. Interesting times ahead.

The new product range announced a few months ago failed to raise the SP and ditto the OEM with JRC but at long last an RNS that raises the SP! Hooray!

Pity the value was not stated. I guess that the 1st invoice will miss this current 1st half year but it should mean that our next 1st half year will look better than most of our previous few years. Dare to dream - just like England!

I think redjester has got it right. This is just a step in a process that will take time. seattle's point is similar. GMR will either be very profitable in the future or just do not a lot for many years like many an AIM company.

As I've spent 10K I rather favour the former. My hopes are raised by recent BoD additions and the re-direction of it's business. I'm giving this two/three years.

Could be right Nosugar, but can't see why it should effect us in the long term. If Airbus do move abroad it will take them years and they will still make wings and landing gear anyway. Shouldn't effect the decision to switch to HDD or not. However I think together we're to far down the road for it not to conclude - I hope!!

Join in the AIM gamble. Fox is in the best position it's been in for the last 3/4 years and the SP hasn't rocketed.

It's got international customers and a low cost base - what could possibly go wrong!!??

If you add the contracts signed since January this year as in the RNS's then you get a figure somewhere between 12 Mill and 25 Mill depending on how far you look ahead. Smaller contracts will not have been reported. Add the higher figure too the cash in the bank and you're not far off our MK.

I'm pretty sure that once we actually do an acquisition or two then the MK can jump some 50% or so. While it's good to look before you leap the prospectus for the fund raising gave a dozen or more examples of targets and you would think the investors would have had some more detailed info. anyway.

There was an intention to spend the money before the year was up which only has a month or so to go now. Due diligence is good but not using the cash is not moving the SP forward.

Thanks for the interesting comments. I currently hold 13 companies. 1 is on the main market (AVAC) and the rest an AIM. Only 3 pay divi's as I usually choose start -ups and have had to ditch a few! But when they come good the rewards can be great. Most are UK based but all have international trade. Some of course more than others but I think this gives a degree of safety. I also hold Fox Marble which might just break into profit next year. It's based in Kosovo and has an agreement called Stone Alliance which involves the local government and has USA input. If it comes off then the rewards could be huge. I like the feeling one gets when your hunches come off.

Hi Max and Able, I've been dismissive of Trump in the past but his recent meeting with N Korea seems to have cut to the chase. Ministers now have a starting point to negotiate. This is really positive. I know he's threatening tariffs with China but start-ups like TPG who are about to break into profit should not be adversely affected. This particularly applies to TPG because of the long term contracts. I also hold SRT and HDD who are in similar positions.

Hi ABLE. You do seem a little pessimistic if you don't mind me saying so. Both the FTSE 100 & 250 are at their highest for 5 years. Considering the current political turmoil and tensions that's not to bad. While I agree that TPG are undervalued I think it's to do with the fact that we've sat on 20 Mill or so for the best part of a year and you can't make any money out of cash! The SP is only half a penny under it's recent highest of 8p a couple of years ago. I got here 5 years ago by buying Corac at both 10.29p and 12.95p. However in the last 4/5 years I've bought in 11 times. All at lower than the present price of 7.40p and I'm 25% or so in profit. Providing we spend our money wisely I can see a 50% price jump fairly quickly which is something to look foreword to and a reason to be cheerful!

These shares have trebled in the last 2 years or so. Any target could be limiting. I believe there is a lot more mileage here. I've bought mostly start-ups and sometimes sell a few shares in the event of rises with the view of holding the remaining shares as 'free'. If they drop to much I tend to sell anyway. I have in fact bought into a rising sp with the intention of a future sale to achieve this 'free' holding. I've got 3 companies with a total of some 16K as 'free'. Not going to make me rich but is very satisfying! However I am looking at 2 more which will be an extra 'free' 25k. It is most certainly a learning curve. Best of luck.

It seems a shame but good RNS's re deals don't seem to affect the sp. Mind you as a gambling company cash is king - a bet is just a bet.. I guess we wait for the various deals to turn a profit. This full year results may just do that but if not then we will have to wait. I do think that we are on the right track and I am prepared to wait for the interim 19.
