I think Roger has a point re thin air but we approached 2p some 12 months ago and since then quite a lot has happened. We've ordered a new reactor, started some new contracts, had good interims with rising revenues, appointed 2 experienced non-execs - one of whom has just bought 10k of shares and we've been given a little insight to the aerospace progression. There is also the possibility that providing the oil price holds we could actually make a modest profit! Crikey - must buy some more!!

Thanks bakky. Things seem to be building quite nicely. Septembers interims will be interesting because in the previous few years the first halves' revenue has been pretty dire.

Just little jaundiced your revship. Lacking ambition? The Nadcad accreditation, that has already been achieved at Bicester, is the highest production standard in the world. Virginia is currently preparing for it's first inspection. Bicester has already passed it's first. The reason for Airbuses caution is mainly based on safety grounds and the fact that this a unique patented product. Because of it's advanced properties there are improved design and engineering opportunities not previously available. In fact this delay is an advantage in that it represents a big barrier to any competition. As for 100 years - well that seems just a little exaggerated. Maybe 5? Try reading the last few RNSs particularly the 'Operational Overview' in the interims - you might just see todays drop as a buying opportunity!!!.

Looking forward to Mondays webcast. ST has a little bit of VSP explanation to expand on. I accept his previous views were correct at the time as he knew it.. But whey-hey once the mdm starts the growth will be exponentially ever so!

Pleased to see the hold above the 2p mark. We appear to be heading into profit on the O&G market and if the oil price holds we look good anyway. Looking at the latest news from HDD you have to say that the aerospace sector is getting closer to actual orders. Wonders will never cease! Septembers year end will be very interesting but possibly we will hear good news before then. I believe we are at a watershed moment - it just needs more time and I've only been here 11 years! I know these things!

I always thought the 2p mark was important. We've flirted with it a couple of times in the last year or so but today we seem to have gone through it rather well. We have had some 40% gain in May. If we don't get too many profit takers tomorrow then this might be meaningful - the market may just be reflecting the colossal potential HDD has. If we do drop below 2p then I will seriously consider my 26th purchase on the basis that we are so close.

As I see it we first had to get Airbus approval through a general testing program for HDD to be put on the approved suppliers list. Once that happened we then continued testing with suppliers on specific parts. I think it's the suppliers that will give us the orders. Judging by one of the updates this may mean some engineering and design changes. There was an RNS to this effect in December 2015 and we were 8 years in then!!

Actually I believe this to be a good RNS. The dramatic increase in the VSP is either very good or very bad depending on how you view the fact that sales are not keeping up with the increase. I do accept that government contracts can be drawn out with many little fingers in the pie. It was reassuring to see the breakdown. However it was ever thus and on balance I think it's good even if it is really frustrating.

Thoroughly agree. Although he's not joining until September I'm sure he will have an input into any acquisitions. this has the makings of a very good year.

I'm not to certain how important breakeven is this year. We can now stand a small loss. If we spend big in production which translates into big sales which don't quite cover the extra production costs then providing the distribution and marketing channels are sound then a small loss is sustainable. Block production seems to be the key at the moment. Make them and the margins mean that providing the sales are made we will be profitable anyway.

Hi nosugar, Have a look at SRT Marine systems. They've just announced a couple of new products and the CEO gives quarterly updates via a webcast. They broke into modest profits a couple of years ago but have some big fish in the pipeline and are planning there own Satellite system to drive recurring revenue. Fox Marble is another one but is yet to break into profit. One of the attractions is a partnership called Stone Alliance which could become mega. TP Group is yet to break into profit but half the market cap is in cash earmarked for acquisitions. It has long term MOD contracts, a rising order book and is cash generative. It re-invented itself some three years ago and seems well run. I hold all three and intend to hang on for dividends - one day Rodney!

A yearish ago a major fundraising was announced and actioned. The purpose was to acquire new businesses and over 20 Mill was raised. Apart from less than 2 Mill spent last December we've done nothing. If you read the prospective it seems as if a lot of homework was actually done prior to the subscription launch. So the lack of action would seem a little strange. Yes we did spend less than 10% of the fund raising in December but rock all tommy since. You would think that the July investors would be getting a little impatient. Has anybody any idea what's going on? My guess is that we are lining up a mega (for us) purchase or some sort of amalgamation. It beggars belief that half of our MK is in cash and that for the last three or for years, in spite of losses, we have been cash generative.

We may have possibly "bought" previous sales by perhaps offering early payment discounts - even more if you pay in advance! But whatever we did we do seem to have actually got there. It took longer than was originally forecast but then most start-up companies are guilty of this. if CG develops Fox to it's full potential then the Stone Alliance has the potential to blow your socks off. I take my hat off to him.

I know you shouldn't count chickens before they hatch but we've been testing with airbus for some 6 years or so and Leonardo for nearly as long. The latest update gave, unusually, quite a lot of detail. I think it's more when than if now. As it's taken so long it represents quite a barrier for competitors so yes indeed a real game changer. the only downside is the length of time it takes to order any new reactors to really ramp up production. Good times, like shrimp boats, they are a-coming.

The New Jersey deal could be about to pay off.

Possibly something to do with Brexit? Perhaps they see an advantage from being able to distribute from inside the EU once the UK leave.
