Hi investz, I'm not to sure about the SP's losing its strength last 3 Months, it's often unrepresentative to look at a narrow time frame. The SP is now where it was some 6 months ago in the high 60s. but go back 12 months and it was in the mid 40s and go back 24 months and it was in the mid 20s so we have roughly trebled in two years! I bought in in may 2016 and I've doubled my money. The Revenue for the year end is forecast to grow by 50% and to break into profit. As the interim report shows a revenue increase of 33% then if we "only" do that I'll be inspired - and so will my holdings! However having said all that you may have a point because an MK of 108 Mill is high so future SP rises may be more muted but we can't be that far of from a maiden Divi - may be half year 2019? ' sths .

Hi Dar, Corac was the forerunner of TPG and was an R & D company mainly concerned with devising turbines that could be inserted into gas boreholes and so provide electricity " Downhole Gas Technology" as it was flagged. It took a lot of time cost a lot of money and did not a lot. A new BoD diverted the engineering side and reinvented us with impressive results and so here we are.

Gore Blimey Guvnor, here was I hoping to break through the 2p barrier. (upwards I hasten to add!) Can't really think of any real major downside - has anyone else got any negative news? Just have to ride this out perhaps.

Hi Dibs, In theory the cash position should be OK as we've had recent good trading with the O & G upsurge, plus no real debt anyway.. Again, in theory, Aerospace will save us. I'm in here (some 10/11 years now) on the basis of a proven well run company with an some serious USP. To be fair I have felt occasionally like Rodney - "One day my son we'll all be millionaires"

You have hit the nail exactly, and succinctly, on the head. Even if we made no acquisitions we are getting close to fireproof. If future acquisitions are as beneficial as previous ones then we are in an ascendant spiral. Corac - who'd have thought it!!

Hi Richie, I wouldn't hold your breath re Aerospace revenues. I've just checked last Feb's AGM statement and while the new one should have a welcome comment on rising O & G revenues the Aerospace revenues will be still be awaiting testing exactly as they were then. I have posted before about production capacity and with 5 reactors I think bulk production is compromised. the 6th reactor has 6 months to arrive. In addition one of Kirkham's interviews seemed to indicate that not all of Bicesters reactors are Nadcap credited - certainly Virginia is not. We do seem to have a new larger reactor in development but as it seems to take 12 months for the existing design to get into service from ordering - and we've only ordered 1 remember, then I'm doubtful about satisfying the bulk production that Airbus would probably need. We might be able to meet Leonardo requirements but again we're still in testing! At the moment I'm thinking that if in March we've broken into profit, and if the O & G sector keeps going well then time is on our side which is probably just as well!!!

The 4 contracts are at least 12 weeks closer than they were at the last Webcast! Small comfort perhaps but ST seemed relaxed about the outcome. While Trio's comment is quite right about space projects and their difficulty what SRT are discussing is a proven system of launching a proven satellite with a proven payload which is more straightforward.. If that wasn't the case then it couldn't be priced. The only real question is what bits to attach. My view on this is taken from the RNS and the comments ST made on the Webcast at the time. I'm pleased the Mtrak and OEM business is being promoted as it should be a more consistent revenue stream than lumpy MDM contracts that are totally controlled by the customer. Jam tomorrow chaps! The update on various technical developments while not definitive was interesting including those that are a couple of years away which means we have a stream of sales potential.

Hi David, When the funding prospectus was released it seemed that there was a variety of takeover targets. Now that half of our MK is in cash perhaps the BoD feel there is no reason to rush things. The small acquisition of Polaris took 6 months. We obviously have takeover kudos but equally have the ability to pay a premium price as any Manchester football team can testify. I guess we're treading a fine line. However in the last 3 years or so we have demonstrated a good record in takeovers so while I would prefer speed I am resigned to a lengthy wait in the hope that this will deliver the goods. The longer it takes though lengthens the time to a maiden dividend.

Trio's views will hopefully be aligned with bakky's and we all be rich at some point! Patience and perseverance. One day Rodney!

There is obviously more business with the postal machines but as there is only some 70ish of them I believe it's more publicity than profit.

SRT has unique patented software product with new variations in the pipeline IE satellite additions. Shareholders are speculating on large contracts one day. The company is very commutative with quarterly webcasts and open AGMs with a BoD presentation. Next webcast is on the 6th of Feb which should be interesting and can be accessed by anyone via their website. This is a punt but one with a reasonable chance of very strong growth.

My view is that our main MoD contracts are with the air systems on the submarine new build programme. Looking at the current state of our operational subs (almost non-operational sometimes!) there is little scope to reduce this spending. I'm not to sure what percentage of our revenue is with this programme but we also have air system contracts with foreign navies so all in all we should be OK.

My guess is that the V poor 1st half figures (as usual!) followed by nothing to suggest the 2nd half isn't going to be better is spooking the market. There was expectation of VSP contract news that has not materialised.

Seemed a little biased to me. there will always be business disputes and nothing in the article was major. The disputes are being defended anyway.

Don't hold you're breath Sisyphus. The last acquisition (while a good one) went to the wire re the fundraising timetable and it was small to boot. The BoD have 6 months left and I feel they will use it. This is frustrating as any revenue and profits from any takeover are being lost. BUT the full money spent on acquisitions will be a game changer anyway irrespective of the timing. I would like to see deals done now but on balance I prefer a measured approach and am prepared to be frustrated.

Unfortunately SPUP you're quite right. We need one or two of the VSP's to come good about now! The 1st halves figurers were poor (as the last 3 years or so) so without some sort of MDM contract then the full years figures could well continue that lack of revenue. Although to be fair the 2nd half has previously rescued things. In the last two months or so we've had a 20% SP drop which suggests market uncertainty re future MDM business. Squeaky bum time methinks!

GizmoSam touched on something earlier that I have commented on before. The litigation in the UK has driven the BoD to look internationally with good results and proves that this particular cloud may have a sliver lining. An example of this is that at the end of February we see the 6 month Brazilian manufacturing accreditation come to a hopefully good conclusion. Accordingly this, as a bonus, will provide a spring board to other S American countries. This bodes well for next year figures irrespective on any appeal success..

There's no real history of updates from the BoD. It's pretty hit and miss really. We had to wait to the end of April for the full figures for last year.

Since December we've announced 4 new agreements. Add in the real Networks loan that is now sorted and the new Non-Exec and I think things are extremely positive. Because 2017 involved some restructuring and the halve year figures were a little flat perhaps we need some sort of trading statement to reassure the market. Lets hope we did achieve positive EBITDA as promised - it would be good to have a general idea though.

It is pleasing that both Air and Ground are improving in all geographical regions and that new investment has recently been spent to reinforce this. The Biggy is that cash generation grew significantly which if the BoD wants to continue it's stated acquisition programme then this gives it the opportunity. If you neutralise the financial effects of the litigation and add in the fact that the MK is well less than the Revenue (and this is a profitable dividend paying company remember) then - Da Da ' Take Off is Nigh!' sorry
