Have asked the directors to clarify with more details the outlook for commercialisation of hcv tests kits. Given that the commercial outlook was given as one of the reasons why the board are not concerned about the net asset to share capital ratio then I believe that they should provide more clarity on this. Have heard nothing back though! Early days as asked 10 days ago but nonetheless would be good to evidence a responsive management team. If anyone else reading this would like to also contact genedrive management to ask for clarification then I think that would help to get some response. Suspect they also need to provide this clarity in order to attract an institutional shareholder who can mop up this miserable drip feed seller who is dragging the price down!

Think that sums it up nicely. There were expectations for more progress and they haven't materialised hence the pull back in the price. Traders have and will sell now but investors should use these opportunities to pick up shares. Water scarcity and water treatment solutions globally are one of the most significant unmet environmental issues today. Modern have a proven solution, strong backers and a decent balance sheet and high gross margins. There are a lot of orders for these water services that have to get placed in the next few years. All investors have to do is assess whether modern will get a slab of them. I think they will but dyor.

I think that 50k block you mention surprised was me. Can't get a quote though for any more stock. Has the well run dry now?

470k odd shares showing as sales but no downward price move. Either a large buyer working in the background all of a sudden or one of those trades was a buy and the stock was crossed at 70p. Still, it's good to see something happening here. Retirement is 15 odd years away and I'm wondering if geec will have meaningfully increased sales gas by then.

I can sell my whole holding inside the spread at the moment. That's not been possible before. It's a big enough holding to have made me lose a lot of sleep over the last few months to give some context. I know this board has already worked out that there are sizeable buyers at work here now. Just thought I would support the insight

Surely a sales manager for the Asia Pacific region would know if cpx caps were designed in to note 9. Yet he seems to have sold his stock a month ago. Would love to think it's cpx but heart says no based on this timing of sale. Or is this wrong-headed? Let's see what's revealed from tear downs. On that, looks like some one has already had a look inside the 9 but no word on the pen as far as I can see.

Indeed. Your point is valid ctw as always. My view on this though is that management will always try to strike options prices as low as possible to maximise the upside. The share price is very near to the low since budd took over and so by granting options now the board are effectively saying that they are confident the share price will not go lower from here. Whether or not they deliver on the strategy (and hence whether they exercise the options ) is a seperate point. However if any investor is invested in a company where they don't think the strategy will be delivered and the share price wI'll be lower in the future then they need to revisit their investment principles textbooks. There are never any guarantees obviously but this is a clear indication that insiders think that the share price is not going lower from here.

Ha yes! Agreed! Just back from a couple of weeks switching off from everyday life. Catching up now and saw this rns. Agree that timing looks favorable. They will be sure also that they can meet the conditions for options to be awarded. Great to see Ceo and cfo with skin in the game now and more aligned with shareholders. They wouldn't have done that unless they have reached a position of significant confidence in the outlook. Both awards now take each of them to just under 1.5% of the issued share capital. Soon to be marketing in 30 countries was it and if you put a 2x revenues valuation on the hcv and tb markets then they are worth $300m per year. Even a 10% share of this opportunity and there is plenty of upside to share price and the cautious senior management have just signalled that it's time to get in. Continues to look good!

There it is. Bang on July 13th as you suggested ctw. Very bland update which tells us little except that there was another small delay in commercial roll out. This will drift for another few months now until we might get something more meaningful about sales and profits in the full year announcement that can bring some sustained buying, to my mind. "Registrations expected to have a positive impact on revenue in future years" according to David budd. Frustrating thing to say as I think shareholders are already assuming that! We're not invested here for philanthropic reasons. No wonder there was selling ahead of this. Developmemts Moving very slowly and no indications yet of what sort of profitability we can expect. Very low shareholdings for Budd and his team as well. Would like to see them taking the opportunity to build meaningful shareholdings to show willingness to put money where their mouths are.

Hope you're right on the gas prices outlook. Will obviously help drive cash flow as sales gas slowly rises. Not sure how many potential buyers of this stock are out there at the moment though. Suspect it will need strong cash generation and a high free cash flow yield to attract interest. Unfortunately that is probably more like 18 months away when they can sell all their gas into the new pipeline to kolkata. I've been here for quite a while already though so happy to wait a little bit longer!

To see another lurch down in the share price. It's only a couple of trades seemingly but last year we had a trading update around this time so I'm hoping that we are not in store for some weak genedrive uptake figures. One way or another though we need to find out if there is demand for this preduction. Still confident that there is given the news flow over the last year. Emotionally tough going this one though!

Agreed. Energy demand outlook is strong. Don't agree with coal as the solution though even as a short term solution. Gas is a great interim fossil fuel solution though until renewable sources are scaled. Geec region is also slated as a key region for industrial development and the new pipeline will link in huge demand from kolkata. Only issue for me is long term pricing of the gas. All looks god though for now.

Apologies, current post year end gas sales run rate is 12m cubic feet per day not 15m. Getting ahead of myself! Should be able to make 14m by this time next year. Same argument applies though, much better cashdflow is coming if they achieve this. Debt pardon and restarting drilling programme.
