Just to show an example of how things that cannot be known, get misrepresented here.
Laura states that all the trades since 9am are buys.
Then says apart from the trade at 11.21am at 0.768p, if that is a sell then why not the trade 40 minutes before that at the same price? I know it was 0.769p to buy for a while this morning but before that we were told that you could buy and sell at the same price, so how would you know whether the 0.788p trade at 9.15am was a buy or a sell?
So from all buys since 9am to perhaps 3 actually being sells and for a volume of just shy of 400k.
So why the need to make something as fact, when you can't possibly know.
On the flipside, when the SP goes into reverse and the offer is so close to the bid, it generally means the MMs are working a big sell order and want to cover it, let's see if this is the case, but only the person selling or buying and the corresponding market maker will know which were sells and which were buys and only the MMs will know why they got the price they did.
