I've added 2.75m this morning, the 1.5m is delayed...

I couldn't get a quote to buy for more than 15k for the last part of the day, it is likely the deal was struck earlier in the day and reported after the close.

It wasn't an auction trade on the close, as it would have had a 'UT' trade status.

Laura, you cross ramped this across other BBs and then dig out new faces when they post here, perhaps you should use the weekend to think about why that might be, whether you have ramped some in here to be spiked...I am not sure you are that clever, but others play you like a deck of marked cards and you don't seem to mind...

I do, you just don't take it in...You like to make a lot of them at the time though, remember the 2.5m buy last Thursday???

Had to split it and go fill and kill for some, but got them away before they dropped the price.

Laura, Just because I don't post like a demented person, under water desperately trying everything to get this to move, it doesn't mean I cannot hold, I try to buy low and sell high, if you can't accept anything that isn't entirely positive being posted, then you shouldn't be in this game. Sold a couple of T trades and banked £3.3k profit, now holding just under 2%. You talked me into it and it's Friday, so always going to see the hot money disappear before the weekend. We'll have to see if they return next week or another 'hot' stock will take their fancy. I do wonder if the placing still has an overhang just above 0.5p, as it has struggled to stay bid above that.

In December they had £269k cash, then in Feb added £500k gross (so let's say 15% fees, especially as there was an offer as well as a placing), then there is a monthly cash burn of roughly £42k, so probably more like £500k left, but we also had more staff costs since the new guy joined. Success here is a binary bet on the DosemeRX / PredictONC trials being enough to monetise the software, they will take time to convert as rollout and trials are only just starting for both.

SML got a matched funded grant of £750k, do you suppose they shouldn't have raised and let that slip by?

Fab also raised recently (at no discount) and yesterday announced a grant of over £500k.

These companies are getting serious money offered to them, but they have to match the Government initiatives, I am more than happy to see the development progress at a greater pace due to those placings/grants.

Anyway stop the distraction tactics, this is the PYC thread, so answer the question, how do you believe that PYC have £700k in the bank at the present time???

What evidence Laura, the fact that you don't believe me, if anything that should prove the exact opposite, currently double my average here, with a holding just under 3%, you broken even yet???

Yes they use AI, so do most people nowadays...

As for posting on SML and FAB they both had material news yesterday, and I hold decent positions in both of them as well.

As for AI usage, yes they use it in their modelling, but so do other CRO's, the valuable thing is to have the data which the AI can trawl and come up with new discoveries/outcomes

If you are to believe Laura...However 2 of the 3 statements are tenuous to say the least, they are very unlikely to have anywhere near £700k in the bank at this time (Laura uses a cash figure from end Dec '24 + a gross figure from the placing to get to that £700k) and they use AI in their modelling.

However it is potentially undervalued if the DosemeRX collaboration gets larger...

I haven't claimed anything, I just explained generally where Bed and Isas and Rollovers are priced within the spread, you seem to agree with what I said, but had to add about a decent broker...I use three different brokers, but generally do my Bed and ISAs myself and any rollovers that I may do, in the market, much cheaper and can sometimes get a decent price and make a little profit.

What I also said is that it could have been a rollover or even (though unlikely) a Bed and ISA, but it could easily just have been one or two buyers buying at around the same time. You cannot prove what it was, so your guess is as good as anyone's.

Anyway it really doesn't matter, there will be plenty more buys going through and the price will rise and those that hold decent amounts will do very well.....

Guzzler, very easy to call someone a fool behind a keyboard, but let's look at this, in my experience of both a Bed and ISA and rollovers there are different reasons for doing so at a specific price.

For a Bed and Isa for example, that aim is to mitigate tax on gains by sheltering the stock in an ISA, so if doing that you would generally choose to sell at the lowest point (the quoted bid) and buy back in the ISA with the small spread covering the MMs.

For a rollover however usually that is done because the holder hasn't got the cash to buy in the T20 and so has to roll the trade over by selling to cover the settlement date and buying on another T20 to have another 3 and a half weeks holding them on tick. So generally the rollover is done with the sell at the highest price possible and the buyback at the quoted offer.

Of course, someone could have chosen to have picked a price point in the middle of the spread, but so could one or two people have bought 100k within minutes of each other with the second buy being slightly more expensive. You don't know and nor do I and nor does DarkRyder, only people that will know are the trader/s, their broker/s and the MMs that traded.

That's because it is delayed by 1 hour and then the 15min delay on LSE on top, it was showing elsewhere and is now showing on here

TBF the bookbuild was completed rapidly, which suggests the pricing was cheap and now with this (which must have been known about) it does seem that way. I just hope the placees are a little more long term than many in today's bookbuilding World.

Whatever happens short term pales into insignificance, if the LCCM call option is exercised and completed and Redmoor throws up some good grades....

If there are some that have sold to buy back lower, good luck with that! When this goes, it will fly....The recent placing was at no discount and the majority were taken by two large Institutional purchases, so really not a lot of sense in hoping it will be going lower.

I think we will see a trading update within days and we are due other newsflow as well...
