Macro aside and potentially cyber claim aside , I see this steadily rising up to "the New Hope's" arrival. We cant tell whats going to happen in the world...but my view is that with a bit of a santa rally , a disposal , maybe some ok news on the trading update which shows considerable hope for the future the price could double by 1st Jan. Its a guessing game to be honest . Good luck all. IMHO

Many of us have complained vociferously to IR about the SP, the poor presentation of material and any good news stories generally and the absolute disregard for shareholders. There were then a lot of director buys. My hope is that those buys were based on a good chance of a positive trading update and some clarity on numbers. Adolpho is also coming in and Im hopeful that the board will want to present an encouraging picture for fear of being sacked for underperformance!

Many people are happier to WFH -I would have thought this model would be very appealing to Capita. Good equipment at home can really make savings

We also have to factor in the rights issue I guess but still on the face of it. There is considerable value left here imho and this is borne out by the broker price points.

Id like to see property and employee costs come down fairly substantially and this be truly lean and mean . Circa £300m on lease liabilities is really excessive . They mentioned potentially a £40m saving there but Id like to see 80m stripped out if possible via surrenders, assignments and underlettings

In the interest of fairness I would make the point that dividends are not back on the radar unless divis within 24 months of August is back on the radar

Aimmaster its disingenuous to reference your data and then not post actually data with comparisons against 4 years ago. Are you able to do so please? I do think its fair that everyone get a fair crack of the whip imho

Hexam is it your view that CP's share price should be 10 times less than it was 4 odd years ago. That I do not see unless Im missing something very big

I agree Wildcat-the problem though is inflation and war. Whilst that lingers, anything can happen at thats why AIMmaster is interested in 14s. We still have news potential of A joining, the last company sale and a steady/positive TU in December -Id like to see this rise to 25 by then and then take it from there . 40 is if its super positive on all fronts and we have an amazing Santa rally

When is the trading update please? I would hope this is delivered by Adolpho at the same time he joins. The SP is still miles off where it should be and we are still prone to a macro shock event. Id like to see this at 40p by Xmas!

Ideally we want Alphonso in PDQ , the final sale to occur etc asap This ught to push things back over 20p...in the short term though its about the macro. AimMaster is saying 14 p because he thinks inflation and the conflicts will get worse causing a massive sell off in the markets . Id rather that happened when we we nearer to 25 pm than where we are right now

I think they are about to make the last sale…if something very negative was afoot we wouldn’t have had the director buys. Unless ofcourse they wanted to deliberately wanted to lose money
