Thanks Aimless. You might be right but I think you are wrong. This was done to firstly clear the path for Adolfo, secondly they probably have leg room to do it now , thirdly there will be money from the sale of the last company and fourthly the market is always forward thinking.

Aim master -there was no profit in the last report and the RNS says things re positive and in line with expectations at this stage

I agree sharehead-having said that someone sold 3 blocks of 200k shares so I am of the view that this is a marathon not a sprint. If you believe in the turnaround then this on the face of it looks like a good long term hold

@Voli-yes I agree with that. Particularly the lease liabilities must come down. Dilapidations, rents, rates, service charges etc. It's just too high. I'd say by 30%

JG68 -Im not certain on that-all I do know is that when are you doing this type of consultation, it is always possible to leak. The market would be surprised by this and this something dodgy was going on so they have got ahead of the game. Also as Lewis is leaving it seems he has decided to take the difficult decision leaving Adolfo with and easier start . I dont know that . We are mere ants

@ Josey. So if that is the case is it sensible to spend £27m cash in one hit now. The cost saving thing was mentioned in the half year report. I think there is loads more to save on property. Their lease liabilities are massive

JG68-my guess is the latter and Im making that guess based on the statement in the RNS

The above suggests that we wont see anything spectacular but everything is in line with expectations. It doesnt seem to me they are cutting costs now because they are losing out on profitable deals. IMO lewis wants to go out on a high and leave the new ceo with a steady ship. He has however been an utter disaster for the SP as we are still only at 21ish

Josey given that they also said that other metrix are on track in the same RNS I'm not sure what your concern is

@crowman-not sure how many shares you have but you’d be missing out on divis. Understand your reasoning though
