Hi GoCPi. As I said he wants to go out with a bang . I hope there are more goodies to come. Adolfo buying in would be nice, rumours of a bid maybe. Who knows? Maybe even a surprise divi.

No- they had to announce this now if they were putting this in this year’s figures plus from a pr perspective you need to get this info out to the market before it leaks

@ Hexam totally agree. This is the first real sign of an accelerating turnaround that I’ve seen. I did say yesterday I expected at least 2 RNSs before year end. We are getting that and I’m expecting something on the last business sale - query whether that is funding the headcount- and the trading update .

Aim will it drop to 14 p because of this?

@crowman - obviously it’s not great for the people it’s happening too. I don’t want to belittle that at all.

Aim master don’t be ridiculous - the statement says that everything else is in line with expectations. Any cost saving measure has payouts. From a business perspective that’s exactly what the business needs - there are too many people clearly. The property cost is also heavily bloated and that needs to be looked at with property being rationalised.

I think they want to accelerate the announcement of a dividend potentially or make this a one and done. They’ve obviously got the funds to do this now which is a positive

Business is crying out for being more efficient and profitable. They’ve taken the first step in doing this.

To be honest I dont see why and how this can still be in the teens. Two massive contract wins in recent times and hopefully all the one offs are nearly at an end

I would hope that macro meltdown aside this should be into the 50s by first quarter of September 2025 at least. That's not that far away!
