The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Any idea if we're still drilling at present? Or have the legal debacle delays meant that we now have to wait until next July ish for resumption of drilling?
That about sums up where we are @apr
Arya next drilling (after the 3 holes currently being drilled), i assume, will be next year i.e. in about 10-12 months?? or will they start further drilling soon in the new year (does the climate allow at that time of year?)
Met wirh the usual 'damp squib' reaction from Oz. Those aussies are a hard bunch to please ...... tut
Agree loot, was hoping for more but at least there's something to play with there.
Zambia is actually a lot more stable than most African nations, even more so after the recent election of new govenrment. Very pro mining. So in theory it could add a great deal to ccz, as can the lithium projects, Arya and big one....in theory. Let's hope the theory becomes de facto.
Seems like another rns full of info that we already knew. They do like like their rns's
Well at least we now know we're getting an Arya update next week. Fingers crossed for good results
Yes, I think they've known about these results for a while now. Not that great really, as i predicted, I believe they've tried to soften the blow with other 'positive' newsflow. Will be down today that's for sure. Need Arya to come good now, fingers crossed.
Pleased with the rns, the new lithium acreages definitely have potential. However, it now looks like drilling at Arya won't start until another few weeks, I was hoping it would start next week at the latest. Also, does it state that the Big One assays will now not be available for a few weeks? Weren't we supposed to have had them couple of weeks ago?? I don't mind the wait as I'm invested for the long term but, is it me being pernickerty, or do they seem to 'jump the gun' in their timeframe predictions. Would prefer if they predicted a longer timeframe for news and then if we get it earlier then its a bonus. Anyhoo, let's see what develops......
Gino, I was thinking the same. Hopefully we're both proved wrong and we're just cynical people;-)
Oh, didn't scroll down tye announcement, just saw trading halt. Bugger!! Thought it was due to drilling (major discovery etc)
Trading Halt in Oz again..........
I'm glad we didn't get an rns today, Monday rns's always seem brighter than friday ones.
Looks like it'll be a Friday rns then. Never liked Friday rns's, usually the bearer of underwhelming news. Hopefully I'm proved wrong.
The rise of the sp an hour or two before an rns is released, just proves what most of us know already, that there are people in the know. They know when a an rns has been lodged, it's happened a few times now here, within the last year. It soon drops back down when it transpires that it isn't THE rns that everyone is waiting for, but it just goes to show how much of a coiled spring this stock is. Keep an eye out for similar movements as it will no doubt precede an announcement. Apologies if this is stating the obvious to many, but hey ho, just thought I'd mention it.
A recent bricks and mortar investment meant that unfortunately I wasn't able to add more at these levels...so I'm a bit jealous of those that did lol
Clear rns, nice to get an update. Drill prep is end of this month, so I'd guess the actual drilling to start early Oct. Would be nice if the sp started to get back to where it was averaging past 6 months during the drilling, hopefully big one results might give it the impetus it needs.
The cynic inside me says they may be holding back disappointing big one drill results to disguise them amongst other possible positive news in one rns to soften the blow. Hope I'm wrong, I usually am ;-)
Yep, should be interesting. Would hope to get update on big one drill this week aswell.
.
Might be worth you asking the question from nvs via email Ella, would expect them to be out of lockdown by now but would be interesting to find out if they are and how they're getting on with the aem's. Let us know any response
