Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
He's referring to CCZ it's listed on asx and lse. There's a trading halt pending 'material drill results' due to be released on 15th. Rules in oz mean they have to halt trading whereas over here you're free to continue to trade. Bizarre really, but could present a major opportunity for those here with spare cash to maybe make a bob or two.
PS regards to aprogerson on here, who first mentioned ccz a while back and reason I bought in then.
Sorry for off topic but there you go
.....NOT :-(
I'm not too sure that they have to rns if a formal offer has been made (correct me if I'm wromg) or if it's only if arcm accept that particular offer. Either way you can bet your bottom dollar that an 'informal' offer(s) made by AA that nvs et al decided wasn't good enough.
Regards the processing plant, yes nvs did state that "he had no appetite for developing processing plant" but the economies changed considerably from July 20 to early 2021, that meant it was now feasible to go down the processing route. Personally I'm glad they did, means we can be self funded for further exploration if required. What we really need now and what will up the game considerably, is if we hit decent grades with the drill bit early on, that would, as nick would say be a "game changer"
Spot on shorn, agree with everything you say there. The only difference in the AA deal from last Thursday, is that there is now more pressure on AA to do a deal. I know sone people weren't happy being locked in an EA but I'd imagine AA put a lot more resources into investigating what we have than they would have done if it had been an open bidding war. This would have benefited us greatly in the increased data we now have in understanding our acreage, the knowledge we've been able to gain from AA's expert(s) of this region and numerous other benefits AA would have brought. We are now closer to results from assays, drill start, self production..... etc so are now in a stronger position than we were when we first entered the EA last July. To sell now would be bonkers, the risk/reward ratio has never been so one sided. I only wish I had the funds to seriously increase my holding yesterday morning.
Had a lie in today, hope I haven't missed anything........
It certainly is Mogmeister..........it certainly is :-)
.......
....
I only said it once lol
But I reiterate the point that 'we are still in negotiations with AA' until told otherwise and therefore do not understand why people need to be told that every week
Touche tom, I see I hit a nerve with the 'sharpest knife' comment many moons ago. Out of character for me, it must've been a bad day, and I apologise for that.
Cannot understand why some people need an rns to say "we are still in negotiations with AA...."etc Firstly what a waste of money that would be, secondly until we have an rns stating otherwise, "we are still in negotiations with AA". Simples.
I was actually quite relieved it wasn't the big rns today, I've never really liked friday rns's (less so friday pm rns's)
So we know, drilling will start imminently, aeromagnetics are delayed(shame) and we are still awaiting the metallurgical results. Delays, unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control. Nevertheless I've waited 13 years, I'm quite happy to wait a few weeks longer than first planned.
Originally I was hoping for a done deal back in January, then by April. However now we're so close to starting drilling my mindset has changed to one of I don't mind if we had to wait until after drill results are known. There may well be a conditional offer from AA based upon proving up 'y' but what if we hit the motherload and surpass 'y' by a country mile within the 1st few drills, hopefully we will also have a condition in place for that scenario. First ans foremost though, we need to hit the deeper sulphides.
Interesting video, worth a watch if you're thinking of taking a position.
Jeez apologies for my spelling mistakes, typing on phone with fat fingers
4kandless, AA completed DD on arcm months ago, have put in initial offer, countered by nvs, no drill results pending just yet, aerials are being carried out imminently (slightly delayed due to covid) then I'd expext ongoing drilling results over the course of next few weeks/months. Nvs did state that updates will be fewer than usual due to depth if these drills. All un the meantime I'd expect AA woukd have put another offer forward to the bod.
Ella, your previous posts (rior that is) to the last couple of days, have been useful and I'm appreciative of those. There's nothing wrong with being vigilant, but in this case i think you're making a mountain out of a mole hill. As hierarch has stated, there is no requirement for kalaba to stay as a mining licence until that is, we or a n other, start to mine the area, in which case the mining licence will run longer. The legal case is just 'hot air' and isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
The only thing I'm disappointed in is that i tied up my remaining funds in another investment last week and am missing this top up opp.
Carrying on being vigilant, posting your views etc as they are welcome but in this respect, you really are letting your mind run wild

Agree seis, metals reprocessing is looking like having a resurgence due to now economical copper price. Actually had CMRS (the cypres company) on my watchlist, was going to take a stake in them but left it a few days to late. Still watching them now for a decent entry point.
Yes F79, fingers crossed we hit the main ore body(ies) early on in drilling. It would certainly up the ante if we did. Wait with baited breath the reaction if we hit the motherload on 1st drill.
SB, the new technologies that are now allowing some of the Botswana plays to be accessible can only bode well for us once we start to focus on our acreage there.
I don't think Tom is the sharpest knife in the drawer tbf.
