Investing in Aim is very much about 'jam tomorrow '. It's about speculating on what will happen next. It's not free money being handed out. I think we have had a delay that was unexpected. Otherwise Riptonk has hit the nail on the proverbial. Unlike say BRH, currently at £1.12, GDR have a test that's been independently evaluated. It has a multi national pharma driving a sales plan across the US. It's got an FDA EUA in process for a fast, highly efficient and accurate PCR. The US have a testing budget for £49billion. They do several million PCR tests a day. So Riptonk has it right. The sp will settle and recover. And GDR will do very well. But not today.

We don't know how long the FDA will take. It's clearly being processed. It's been allocated a reviewer and it's marked pending. All they have said is it's taking longer than expected. For everyone. These are facts. Sentiment has collapsed because PIs are impatient and had decided in their own minds it would be done by now. Abingdon Health had to go back to the drawing board. Their sp is higher than this and they only have one test. I think we will recover. I will buy some more next week when the price settles.

BRH haven't even started evaluation. And their test isn't better than anyone's except Innova's. So that's going to come crashing down at sorry point in time. And people are saying GDR won't be ready in time!

The unknown is FDA approval which they expect but they are not in control of.
They have approval for Europe, South Africa and Thailand.

Maestro, they have several products. Didn't know that they were distributing for GDR. I do know that BC are selling over 50 million antigen and antibody tests a month though. And they are the primary distributors. Roll eyes. I have a good investment thx. Do you?

Yep. Regulatory approval in Europe, South Africa and Thailand. It works on all new variants so unsurprising. 100% sensitivity and 99% specificity. Damn good. Faster and more efficient production. Of course they will do well.

And the test works on new variants. GDR should have plenty to talk about today. Looking forward to the presentation.

Have had their antibody PCR test approved on Monday 22nd March by the FDA by the way people. I checked last night. Will share the link on my pc if anyone is interested. Next stop GDR?

Muck165, Interesting that the FDA are prioritising high through put tests/systems. DB said in the last investor interview that GDR/BC's approach is one of only 4 high throughput systems. I noticed GDR's tests also work on a Roche platform. Looks better and better the more you look into the context and the competitive advantage in the market.

Just checked the FDA site for EUA. Beckman Coulter have had EUA issued on 22nd March for an antibody semi quantitative CLIA IG antibody lab test. So next stop Genedrive?

Haven't been posting much this week. We're back to troll city I see.
In the meantime the MHRA have updated guidance on lfts again. They now recognise that lateral flow tests may use saliva and they require testing kits to be accessible to the lay person at home. We are getting closer and closer.
For some reason a good level of buying today, exceeding sells, has resulted in a fall in our sp.
I am having adventures elsewhere- hence my lack of posting. Ain't going nowhere till this hits my target. Will be bringing some new money for a nice big top up before next week I think, all things being equal.
ODX will start on a big leg up soon enough. It's been a drag recently but we all know it will turn on a pin in this investment. Will be posting regularly again soon. Hope all actual investors are keeping your heads up. GLA.

Maestro, if you mean me I'm not a long term holder of this share. I'm in ODX since what feels like the start of time-lol. Been a private investor for nearly 4 years. I've held GDR since December and sold in recent weeks. But I do think it's a good stock. It's going to do very well. I sold before the trading statement because I didn't expect sales yet for obvious reasons. No FDA approval yet. But this will come for sure. That's why I bought back in today.
You don't buy and sell solely because of where you think the share is going in the weeks and months to come. You have to consider sentiment. You can't hold it back can you?- with a bit of help from the mms any uncertainty - even a story that isn't as positive as people were expecting can turn into a bit of a tidal wave. And the next day the clean up starts and the sun's out and we pick ourselves up and get back to work.
Budd will have something to say I'm sure. He chose to hold the investors presentation. No-one forced him to. I think the share will recover quickly from here.

But does Maestro spook anyone? The same number of buys and sells. That's due to the mms dropping the price to 90p at the open. That would have spooked a lot of people. Feel v sorry for those who sold in the 60s. Such a shame the way that Aim is managed.
The fact is as many buying as selling despite that.

It's not continuing to fall. It's recovering and it will keep recovering. God Almighty. We're all looking at the same sp but at least one poster here is telling bare faced lies. Of course they will sell. They are trained up and ready to hit the ground ready with a multinational pharmaceutical backing them all the way to the bank. GDR dropped because investors expected more yesterday. Not sure why. The accounts are to December 2020. That's why I sold before buying back today. Learnt from experience that PIs expect sales before preparations have completed. Same thing happened to ODX though not such a big fall because they have a government contract in the bag. Tomorrow this will be a bad dream is my guess.
