Last week 3.2 million people had cv19. 1.8633 million people were not asymptomatic and had cv19 last week. So at this prevalence over a million a week would be encouraged and eligible for a PCR or LAMP test.Testing is now the mainstay of the government strategy for cv19 aside from vaccines. The government are under massive pressure from the media to buy British. Labour have picked up the baton.. It looks like UK lft firms haven't been approved from what Peto is saying. GDR's poc test is more sensitive and has more specificity than all the other LAMP tests already approved by UKCTA. LAMP tests and poc tests make up over 40% of those 19 approved tests now. Looking good for GDR. Just received their CE-IVD mark. In trials for MHRA by the looks of it. Be nice to see an RNS to confirm the purpose of the Ulster trial.

This header is patently false. People who are asymptomatic don't have to do a PCR if they test positive. But looking at the approved tests from the UKCTA we may be moving towards LAMP tests for the future.
Trolls are getting very excited today. When we get an RNS to confirm the purpose of the Ulster study they will disappear.
Hopefully everyone already knows the answer to their big scare story about why GDR's PCR wasn't picked up. It has been explained before. The industry moved away from 96 plate technology which GDR had relied upon. They weren't the only company affected. Plenty of big pharma got caught out on this too.
They are a small company. If this poc gets picked up, which looks very likely this will turn them into a big player. The share price will go ballistic. Buy low, sell high is the general idea. Nb. The opposite of what Jaceorge has done.

On now. Covid statement. 3.5 million have covid last week. 500k PCR tests a week. Hundreds of millions of lfts. Angela Rayner asked what happened to building a British diagnostics industry and why are we relying on Chinese tests. Johnson didn't answer the question.

I have never posted a rocket or promised anything in December. Jaceorge failed to sell last year when the sp hit £1.50. I sold at £1.44 and £1.33 having got in at 50p. I did flag up the lack of approvals at the time would hurt eventually.
Things happen in a certain order. Now we have the EU CE-IVD mark we are eligible for UKCTA approval. 8/19 of the UKCTA approved tests to date are LAMP or poc tests. GDR have higher levels of accuracy than all of these. I have tweeted the data yesterday.
Professor Tara Moore is now trialling GDR's poc test. She does a lot of work for the NHS and government. Very encouraging. Interesting that the recruitment page mentions that LAMP is cheaper than PCR.
I am not wearing rose tinted specs. We must stay focused on the facts. We all have money at stake. Right now GDR is a very exciting prospect. January should be a g8 month for GDR investors. GLA.

Jaceorge is a nutter tbh. I didn't promise orders in December. Things happen in a certain order. We have the CE-IVD mark. This is essential before UKCTA can even be considered.
Today we have the news that Ulster University are trialling the poc. Professor Tara Moore leads on work for the NHS and government. Looks like very good news. LAMP tests are cheaper than PCR. The most recent UKCTA approved list has 4 LAMP tests and 4 pocs included. Very encouraging for GDR investors. 8/19 approved tests are LAMP or poc. Shows the direction of travel. Much cheaper than PCR. GDR's poc is more sensitive than all the LAMP and poc tests. Should get £15 a test going by an old investors presentation.
Investing isn't going to a casino.
Jaceorge failed to sell last year when the price hit £1.50. I did not fail to sell because GDR did not have approval at the time. I did flag up that at the time. Obviously you can't sell without approval. This time it's very different. We are marching forward. Don't blame me for your dumb arse decisions Jaceorge.

Professor Peto has caused some anxiety for lft firms who applied months ago for UKCTA and have heard nothing. He's told the Times there's no backlog, contradicting the UKHSA who advised on November 1st that there was a backlog.
How does this affect GDR? If there's no backlog it's g8 for us. GDR applied mid December for UKCTA. The process is meant to take 20 working days without alleged delays. So we could be approved within the next 2 weeks. Why should we be confident of approval? 1. We have the EU CE-IVD mark which is a prerequisite for consideration. 2. More importantly, the last update published on 24th December showed 19 approvals. Including LAMP tests and 4 POC tests. GDR's LAMP poc at over 98% sensitivity and specificity is more accurate than all of the approved tests. I have tweeted on this today sharing the link to the validation process and validated products. Check for yourself.
Other news due.
1. Sales and distribution agreement.
2. Inclusion in the EU Common list next update. This could land anytime. They did 4 updates in December. Sadly no forward schedule for updates. They have a 4 week grace period from CE-IVD mark and inclusion on the common list for 2022. A bit nebulous the way this is categorised but it looks like they have put more resources in for 2022 to reduce the grace period to 4 weeks. We received the CE-IVD mark on 3rd December.

They are a blue chip international pharma. Worth around 6-7 billion dollars. Don't think they will have any problems with mass production. That appears to have been the expectation.

Jimbob, GDR don't do lfts. The agreement with Beckman Coulter is for GDR to get £10 for the PCR test kit. The investor presentation suggested about the same for the POC.

Jaceorge is off his head. Probably best not to engage with him. I have reported him. It's against LSE rules to post repetitively. If everyone reported him we might get him banned.

Has been in touch with Sajid Javid. He's reported to have been advised that there's a worldwide shortage of lfts and PCR but they're buying British and from anywhere they can.
Pressure is on.

Someone made a good decision. Low volume. But more than double the buys to sells. Not bad for the time of year. I wonder if they will pull something out of the bag before the AGM. AIHL launch or the distribution contract could land anytime.

AIHL launch into the NHS and distribution agreement. Then comes the real main course! Big fat sales orders for tens of millions of tests- £10-15 a test to GDR.

GDR will be on the EU Common list on the next update. Available for commercialisation across the EU. All things being equal the UKCTA approval will follow on early in the New Year.
Next RNS could be AIHL sales to the NHS or a deal with commercial partners. Either will lift the sp to new heights. Once orders kick in we're off to the races.
