So now the poc is approved for commercialisation in the EU, there might be a bit of pressure on the UKCTA to assess it asap. Would be embarrassing for them if the EU are driving a sales program forward whilst we are still messing about.
Did exactly what they said they would. 1. Obtained EU approval for the poc 10 days after final submission of data. The EU want this test.
2. Got the application for UKCTA right on time.

Exactly Latino. Getting EU approval to commercialise across the EU is very substantial. It's a unique product. Advantages of an lft in terms of convenience and speed to results, advantages of a PCR in terms of accuracy but cheaper than a PCR will be a really attractive proposition for distribution partners. I expect we will easily exceed previous highs on the next RNS. And there will be many more to come in the weeks and months to come.

Kick Off on Twitter has found a role being advertised from 3 weeks ago, from Beckman Coulter for a strategic/operational role to set up distribution agreements across Europe in all kinds of settings and services to sell 'an exciting new poc test'. Looks like the commercial agreement is definitely going to be with Beckman Coulter.

You haven't recognised any relevant facts Mr Tennis. The relevant facts are that GDR is now approved by the EU JRC for the first time. Don't bother banging on about approval from Poland previously. Or Thailand. Or any other poorer countries that won't invest substantially in public health tools because they can't afford to.

What in earth are you banging on about Mr Tennis. GDR do not have a bad track record of getting deals over the line. They got a distribution partnership with the global pharmas Beckman Coulter and Sysmex ffs. They didn't get approval for the first test because the industry standards moved away from 96 plate technology which they were reliant on. They have got approval from the EU now. Dread to think what nonsense the trolls will come up with next. Plenty of near term catalysts for the sp could land anytime. Update to the EU common list should include GDR. The UKCTA will be actively assessing the poc now we have the CE-IVD mark. And GDR will announce the sales and distribution agreement. Any of these will leave the traders behind. Calculus are out. Horrendous I have read the regulations. You are misleading not me. The test has been verified by an external notified body. It has to pass agreed specifications which are set by the EU Technical working group for cv19 tests. If it was easy all the cv19 firms would have achieved it.
The fact that they got it 10 days after final data submission shows there's interest in the test. Avacta and ODX still waiting after months. Also a prerequisite for UKCTA approval.

He should be promoting it after the distribution agreement is signed and sealed. Right now that is what he will be working on.

Don't know why Horrendous keeps repeating the notion that the CE-IVD is a self certified. It isn't. The EU check all the data which has to meet high standards. Oh wait..maybe I do know why he keeps repeating the same nonsense. Lol.

Both approved lists been shared on Twitter. GDR's poc test is faster than all of the tests on both lists. Higher accuracy than most. More convenient and faster to process results than all including the lfts. They will have distributors fighting to get the deal.
The sp is down because mms are tipping out the placees imo. Buys to sells have been 3:2 all day. As soon as the RNS is lodged mms will move it fast. Wish the industry was better regulated. But it is what it is.

We didn't have EU approval for the PCR. One Eastern European country approved it. Not the same as getting the CE-IVD mark. GDR priced themselves out of India and South Africa.

It's a new product Jaceorge. The PCR kit was good but the US moved away from the 96 plate production technology. You could say GDR's fault for not keeping up with the industry changes. But the same mistake was made by BC, Roche and Abbot.
That's why they didn't get approved in the US which was their main focus.
