Personalised medicine has been the vision for some time. Unsurprising how excited Professor Newman is to be at the start of what will be such an important influence for medicine in the future. It will reduce the pain of getting the wrong kind of meds, whether it's antidepressants, HRT or something to prevent sepsis. In the case of the latter a mistake for babies with allergies will lead to deafness so Genedrive's test is already a massive result for 90,000 babies who are at risk.
Personalised medicine using a genetic reference test for everyone, as Professor Bill Newman discusses will save all of us time, worry and it will save the NHS multi-million pounds.
I think they will definitely see Genedrive as the go to partner for other iterations in the future.
