One thing a Labour government will never do is renege on agreements with thousands of jobs at stake because they want to fund a tax giveaway when the economy is in the doldrums. They wouldn't allow widespread fraud in the middle of a pandemic with the likes of Lady Mone, lining her pockets with sales of poor products meant to protect health workers but not fit for purpose...I could go on but I won't. Interesting whenever the FCA get mentioned on an investors board you get all these goons turn up. The vast majority of retail investors will benefit from a more powerful FCA with an extended remit to clean up Aim. More people will give investing a go when it starts to feel less like a casino. Who will lose? The lifestyle companies and the dodgy brokers. Who will gain? Retail investors and decent companies including micro companies with real substance to them like this one.

They're about to get insurance coverage for the whole of the US. It's worth waiting for. Enough iis in at this level. It went to 80p in a day when the consultation started. Once the recommendation comes it will triple or quadruple from wherever it is and when orders come in it will build again. They are queuing up already according to the CEO. Pharma companies will wait for the lcd decision to be announced. Obviously they will want that confirmation.

LCD coverage is forecast before the end of September. They need some money before that to get sales going to demonstrate to the market that they can deliver themselves so they aren't vulnerable to a predatory offer. The sp is just relating to reflect the dilution. Still only 150 million shares. They will sell soon enough for a lot of money. Mergers and acquisitions are really taking off with big pharma this year. Patents are expiring and they need new products and drugs.

I get the Hardman report through my subscription to Research Tree. I think I can get in trouble if I share it directly because of the subscription terms.

The author says it's the most complex finance arrangement he's ever seen and the way the warrants and shares are issued (warrants represent 140% of the funds awarded) the deal as a whole is a 78% dilution. He includes a chart which shows that Riverfort just sell relentlessly as much as the agreement allows.

Great if they're out. I will watch for a Tr1. When SAR got them out they told the market formally.

I wanted to get back in prior to the NICE guidance for your stroke marker. But I have just read the Hardman research note. Grim reading. The author who is an accountant says the Riverfort deal is barely understandable but it's a terrible deal for shareholders. Then he shows that Riverfort have just been relentlessly selling vs any buys, there's a formulae attached to this, so they will sell vs a proportion of the volume whatever it is.

It means GDR survive but your sp can barely rise and will ultimately fall because Riverfort don't act like investors. SAR has just got rid of them after less than a year. Because they had the same experience. GDR have got the goods. They should be able to raise themselves by now at a decent interest rate. You guys need to get them kicked out. It's just some billionaire ripping off ordinary people.

HARL are experiencing a similar fate. £900 million worth of signed contracts. They need £100 million to support work in progress but now they owe the same to the US private equity firm who have also smashed their sp in half.

AJBell is giving us a plug. Not sure why ABDX quoted the Forbes forecast for 2033. The UK market is already £20 million for pregnancy tests and the US market is £100 million now. And they're going to try to launch 5 tests for stds this year too, and they already have tests out on iron defiency etc. They say they will break even this year and won't need to fundraise so the next trading update should be good.

Hoping we'll see some applications for EU accreditation and FDA accreditation later this year too. 2024 could be Abingdon's time. GLA

Pretty much as regular posters here have noted. They're extending their sales team so that they can go it alone- at the same time they are now in discussions with multiple potential acquirers- not just those in the diagnostics industry.

Looks like they will have sold before too long to me, if they get a fair price. They won't sell for peanuts. They're clearly very ambitious. They will get sales going substantially first imho- make it hard for big pharma to push them around. They are now talking about a serious strategic approach to sales. Looking at 2 options (very much as I have suggested on this board)- building sales themselves or getting bought out. They also recognise that building sales in key states with high demand will ensure any takeover is competitive and adds value for shareholders. I like the CEO. Maybe it's the American accent ;)
