Chuggley, there's 2 contracts on bid stats totalling £85 million marked 'awarded' with Abingdon Health's name on it (literally, not figuratively). It's been shared on here multiple times. The Good Law Project have been in the papers saying they are taking the government to court about it. Government are reported as refusing to say they won't be ordering more. Bit of a clue?

ODX has 5 tests. 3 of which are lateral flow tests. 2 are antibody (with the RTC and Mologic). 1 is antigen (Mologic).
We all wish we sold at £1.07. We didn't know that L&G had sold their investment arm and were divesting their holdings. We didn't know that the MHRA would take so long. Now we know that they have evaluated 130 tests with 120000 evaluations.

It will go well for ODX. Cv19 is going to be a long term issue. We know that now. The RTC will be a partner antibody test for the AZ vaccine going worldwide. Mologic are one of those now close to concluding their evaluation.
Those investors who rant and rave about the CEO of the company it's you that are undermining the investment for all of us who made a decision to stick with it.
AZ are touted in the press as being close to MHRA approval. It won't be long before they are asked about checking for the vaccine efficacy as Pfizer and Moderna were. Moderna have named their partner.
If you don't want this uncomfortable phase before news is confirmed then buy in after news at 3 times the current sp.
Otherwise keep it together ffs.

The new variant has increased the speed of the transmission. Deaths and hospitalisations are heading back to the Spring peak. 20 tests are at the final evaluation stage according to today's MHRA data.
Getting to be a more crowded market. I noticed the Innova test has been retested since the Liverpool pilot. It's still way below worse anything ODX manufactures. MHRA are putting more emphasis on guidance for self testing because results are much better when trained practitioners do them.

Of course we need to worry about the new variants. The fact that a second mutation has been discovered so soon after the first and that they are especially virulent may mean we have to vaccinate 80% of the population rather than 60% as was first planned. So the vaccination program will take longer.
Han**** said once we have vaccinated the vulnerable, around April, we can move to different measures. Test, test, test anybody?

They aren't blaming though Mikodox. It's a fact that South Africa have a new variant as we had one. 40 countries have stopped flights from the UK.
Anyway, more testing is going to be our response. Young people are getting the UK new variant which is why there's a question about secondary schools opening before they have all been tested.

130 tests and 20345 evaluations. No wonder they are taking so bloody long. Seriously risk averse approach whilst the pandemic spreads and mutates.

Dumbpunter, just examples of the spend that big pharma will make. Obviously some will spend much more. AZ probably got enough going on for now, lol. The trials will go well. Most phase 3 trials are successful (70%), and SYN's phase 2 results are way above the regulatory standards for efficacy so the risk at this stage is very low imho.

Not too shabby. Average spend for GSK, AZ on bringing new drugs through R and D between £1.2 billion and £2.6 billion. But with SNG all the work will have been done for them.

So the emphasis for asymptomatic cases is on antigen tests. How can we find out?

This is the first story from the FT on this, from December 9th. They are speculating that it's Surescreen and quoted the Surescreen CEO. But they don't know which test it is and the DHSC refused to comment beyond that they are looking at a number of tests.
The fact that the guidance for antibody tests has changed in November and December and each time it gets more explicit about a finger prick lft with more confident consideration on the relationship with antibodies and immunity. And most recently the additional reference to taking a test after the vaccine.
And it's nearly Christmas! And why did Abingdon float if they don't have anything? And why is the Abingdon CEO banging on about the deadline in the contract unless he wants to get himself in trouble with the financial regulatory authority?
I don't think the sp would necessarily fly before the approval. These decisions have been guarded like the crown jewels.
I am annoyed with myself that I waited for my big top up thinking I might shave a couple of pence off now.

Sounds like a 'warning ' to me. But clear acknowledgement that high levels of antibodies suggest immunity. There is a new section 'If You Have Had the Vaccine '. It says you may be asked to take a test if you have had the vaccine.
The antibody test is by the way described as a finger prick blood test.
Think it could be us. Damn well hope so.

Has anyone read the whole article? It's referencing the FT. So anyone read either piece? I was wondering why they need to make approval conditional on not impacting ' life choices?' If it's antigen and you test positive you either stay at home or ask for a PCR to confirm and then you stay at home. If it's negative you don't change your behaviour because you can still get it any time so you follow the rules.
If it's an antibody test the MHRA will want to put out a warning. Because we don't know yet whether you can have immunity yet still transmit the virus. So they won't want everyone going around thinking they don't have to follow the rules if they are showing that they have previously had it and are now showing high levels of antibody resistance- which the ABC19 test will show you.

My favourite sentence: 'tens of millions are stored in warehouses and hundreds of millions are on order'.
