Robert Smith, well there's more world wide demand than ODX can supply, or than Ellume can supply. But great that the US have approved a self test for home use. Quite a nice retail price too.
The main point is if a test passes the regulatory standards then we have lift off. If the US goes first on this and it can be seen to be having a positive impact on managing the virus- then good news again.
I think ODX will sell everything they make before they have made it ;)

Twatcher, I see you are back with your little bits of deliberate misinformation. ODX do indeed have a CE mark for the Mologic antibody (3 spike) lateral flow test which as most of us also know- and you know too- has already been branded with the Omega Visitect brand, just as they promised.
They did not promise that the Mologic antigen test would be CE marked before now. They said the results from evaluation would be ready alongside the CE mark ready for tech transfer, just as they have delivered.
For anyone who doesn't know Twatcher this is the man who shared a doctored paper from Richard Tice claiming it was from Liverpool council. I pointed him to more accurate press coverage and to Liverpool city council's own website coverage on the issue (mass testing) and he went apoplectic.
He's a trader. Each to their own. But he ramps or deramping depending whether he's in or out. Manipulative and a little bit sad. Don't think anyone will be influenced by him anyway.

I think the market to support the vaccine rollout will be up to 500 million. I think they will check efficacy with everyone at first because they will be building intelligence for the worldwide roll out. They may need to do an antibody check for everyone if they can't build a picture of who it isn't working for. So that would be a market of 3 billion.

We were waiting for Mologic to CE mark. Now they have CE marked. We don't have to CE mark again gk47.
Mologic CE marked the antibody test in October I think? ODX have branded that test Visitect Omega and they may do the same for this test. We'll soon find out.

This is the swab and saliva test that ODX investors were advised about at the last investor briefing. ODX have a manufacturing agreement with Mologic for this test Twatcher. Try to keep up.
The US invitation for fast track regulatory program is damn well brilliant but this will be massive worldwide.
So far ODX are doing exactly what they said they would. Next week when AZ confirms that the ABC19 test will be a test to support their vaccine the sp will be stratospheric.

My favourite part of the announcement is that they have been invited to join the fast track program for regulatory approval, run by US health authorities. ODX delivered just as the CEO said they would in time for Christmas.

They will be supplying international markets as scale to support the vaccine program. There's no point them spending energy selling a few very overpriced antibody tests through pharmacies Mikodox.

Much better than Innova at 70-80% sensitivity.

Antibody tests are already being used in tandem with vaccines to check efficacy as part of the development of vaccines. Moderna have named their testing partner- since they gained approval. The Pfizer CEO has also confirmed vaccine efficacy will be checked with an antibody test.
This is what they want us to use antibody tests for.
AZ will be the biggest vaccine provider for the world. It is going to be priced at less than £3.00. Moderna is about £20.00 and Pfizer is £29.00.
Abingdon Health say the RTC test will be a testing partner for AZ. If this is confirmed they won't have capacity to supply the public will they?

Mikodox, there aren't any antibody lfts on the market.

Neil Ferguson said on the news (well to the parliamentary committee but that was on the news), that it would already be across Europe. Italy and Hong Kong have definitely confirmed cases. And South Africa obviously has another variant that the public health authorities are concerned about. Wave 3 might be worse than wave 1. Bit of a shocker.

Hi Korda, wow! The video is good. Thx for sharing. It could be Innova's or Surescreen's (the FT were speculating it was them this week but DHSC wouldn't confirm). Even on TV and on the video they just reference the 'lateral flow test'.
I wonder if they are just using the term generically because they will be using more than one firm?
The video is promoting regular use to ensure that you are virus free.

Korda, read the document. The chart shows 5 evaluations which are completed. The paper says 60 were under consideration and 20 are in the final phase 3.

We don't know who they are evaluating from the site except 5. There are 20 in evaluation outstanding but close to conclusion. Mologic are being evaluated by CONDOR. The MHRA paperwork does say that one of those under consideration is being looked at by another body.And Colin King advised investors that he expects Mologic's antigen test evaluation could be done before Christmas. I guess it will be after Christmas at this point. Unless it's tomorrow. Not holding my breath on that.
