Who relies on NHS 111?
Many feel it is not useful at all.
Many elderly people will not even consider using it.

Awareness of the NHS 111 service is low.
80% of polling respondents were not aware that NHS 111 could reserve time-slots at GP's and 73% were not aware they could reserve time-slots at A&E.
Many calls were not connected to GP's and NHS 111 is not properly linked into other services.
Where it is linked to A&E then A&E are often not interested & send people home, saying nothing to worry about. They often seem surprised 111 has sent them."
