Yes It's nice to see sustained improvement in the SP. Long may it continue.

I've held this share for a couple of years now, and have taken full advantage of reinvesting all of the dividends I've had off them. Especially when the sp was sub £1 each. I got quite a few extra freebies there that's for sure.

Yes, of course. You have some good points Harry. All the cr*p must now be factored into the sp. There can't be much, or any more to stir the pot any further. Fingers crossed.

Let's not forget SGC recently sold it's American operations, so the revenue we used to get from that may well be factored in. With that in mind, Stagecoach is now predominantly a UK based business, and with that comes the issue of the Political uncertainty/turmoil of Brexit and our Government's inability to lead effectively.

Then of course, add to that the poison chalice of rail franchises.

Dark days indeed. I can see is hovering around these prices for the foreseeable short term I'm afraid.

The thing is of course, they are not bidding for any more rail franchises. Arguably not a bad thing in some respects, but the loss or revenues may well be factored in today as well I think.

There are worse shares to be in I guese, I for one like plenty of others have picked my share of dogs, that's for sure. All part of the learning curve I suppose.

IT in my view are not so bad. A fairly stable company paying a divvi. No real concerns about them apart from this dredful sp

NigeCo I'd say that is the best thing it has going for it at the moment, - the continued divvi. Especially for those that choose to reinvest it, using the low SP to acquire a couple of extra freebies.

Then if/when sp recovers to a level where you are close to break even then deciding if you want to walk away.

Just as a point of interest, we went on the Coronation St tour on Saturday just gone. Absolutely heaving it was. £89 it cost for the 4 of us, clearly a little gold mine are these trips. Has anyone else been to it, or the Emmerdale one?
