Speaking of the PPI, anyone see on the news last night about a lot of these claims management companies websites & call centre going into meltdown after loads of calls and visits to their websites? Quite funny really, how long has this been dragging on? Years. I'm sorry but even after all those annoying adverts etc and you have still sat on your ass doing nothing until the last minute, you probably deserve to lose out.

There is no obvious reason for this steady climb that I can see.

Marston's, another of my holdings is also on the up, but I'm thinking that the takeover of Greene King has had some sort of impact on that.

I had a couple there over the weekend.

It is very nice to see Whitbread selling it. I couldn't not have a couple of scoops while we were there.

I did enjoy it but found it to taste a bit stronger out of the bottles that I buy at Morrison's than the draft at the bar.

But you're right, it's nice to see that they sell well at the supermarkets

Actually I've seen it on draft at a Brewers Fayre .

We were at a Premier Inn in Stourbridge over the weekend visiting friends. (No Marston's Inns in Stourbridge I'm sorry to say, or we'd have gone there).

That said we did visit The Glassworks, (A Marston's pub) with our friends on the Sunday & had lunch there, (there was 10 of us). A cracking meal it was too. Great stuff and with the discount card saved £16. Happy days.

Too much of the Marston's good stuff over the weekend, I think.

That's a possibility, Clogs of course. But as caretaker says, European producers are not the only wine/lager & beer producers. They will of course still want to sell their wares to us, as will all other European businesses. Despite all the bravado. So is not really in their interests to act up. Despite all the BS.

If anyone remembers, a while ago Tim Martin of Wetherspoon's had stated that should they all start acting up, there are plenty of other Countries that stock can be purchased from, New Zealand, South Africa et al.

I would hope that Marston's knows this.

Maybe it's because I've dragged my friends from Stourbridge into The Glassworks Pub for a meal yesterday. ( And of course my Priveledge card took a bit of a beasting).

Just over £100 of food between the 10 of us had.

And of course, 1 or 2 drinks to go with it.

A cracking day out it was too.

I wouldn't really pay much credence to a take over.

ITV have had takeover rumours by Liberty Global doing the rounds for years, nothing has happened.

I'm in both Mars & ITV, and if this happens, it happens. In the meantime, I'm happy to sit back and take & reinvest the dividends from both.

I see what you mean about your team being colourful.

You might need to re-evaluate a couple of your players tough mate, one has left the league for pastures new. - I don't want you losing points unnecessarily.
