RE; Busy pub. That's good to know. We appreciate you sharing that with us. While people are still nipping off to the pub for a beer & a bite to eat this is good news. Hopefully this continues for as long as possible and limits the damage to our bottom line, which is welcome news.

@ Appleby, yes I saw that "headline" price on the lse link too. That said though I looked a little deeper at the detail once I got the link loaded up to verify against what the headline was saying, against what the page itself was saying.

By all means be bearish, or critical if you must. Such comments, if backed up with some kind of rational, can be helpful to the division making process of others. Regardless of how unpleasant they may be. Half baked throw away comments on the other hand might be interpreted as suspect, and you lose credibility.

@ Barchid, maybe so mate. I don't know. Regardless of anything else though, I think Appleby has a point in a sense. As I have said previously, all this ball locks will affect our revenues, which in turn will of course affect our bottom line, profit, dividend?? And of course sp. We'll have to expect that. But that said it's not just us, it's phucking up the entire market, not just the odd one or two companies here and there. We'll just have to wait until we see the next set of results before we can see the full extent of the damage. Time will tell but that said, I for one will be popping into Morrison's for a few Hobgoblin Gold bottles tomorrow. Every little helps.

I'd be a lot more worried if this was the only one, or just a hand full of shares that were taking a ragging. But it isn't. Pretty much most of the market is down at the moment.

If you're in a position where you've got cash on the hip, and looking to invest somewhere, I'd say you're laughing your ball locks off atm as there are plenty of cheap bargains to be had. The biggest difficulty you'll have is where to put it.

For the Rest of us, it's serious squeaky bum time. Just got to hold our nerve or sell at a massive loss. But then, no one said this game was easy.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I could go a couple of beers.

I rather suspect that the BOD's know about this. It's no secret that plenty of shares are down. Trouble is, I'm not too sure there's much they can do about it.

Yes, this bloody virus is causing a right B'stard of a bear run. Everyone must be down with whatever holdings they have. Probably not a good idea to try and outrun it. Best to stand your ground, especially on a well run Company. Good luck all.

I was going to see if I could russel up some funds for one of my "cheeky top ups", but think I'll hang fire for a while to see if there is any further for the sp to go then move in.

I am still quite bullish on this share so I'm going to hold on to my holding. More out of pig headedness than anything else. I don't really need the money for anything atm and I'm not prepared to sell at a massive loss for no good reason. As I've said before, if this was a flybe or a Thomas Cook scenario company, I would have been long gone some time ago, but it isn't. It is a Well run company being shafted by external events beyond it's control.

I'm holding on until this changes.

I'd have thought that would have been good news for us.

I know that this is a different business to ourselves, but I'll cut & paste some of the comments placed in it relating to the CV virus, and I'd expect Marston's to be saying something very similar when ours is due.

Understandably, however, momentum has weakened over recent weeks with the increased reporting of Covid-19 cases in Europe. Nevertheless, our current cumulative Summer 2020 bookings remain above those at this time last year.

However, given the limited visibility on the impact of Covid-19, the Board is currently unable to determine how this will effect Group profit before foreign exchange revaluation and taxation for the financial year ending 31 March 2021

We continue to monitor the situation carefully and are taking proportionate actions to underpin the stability of the business, which includes reducing capacity on some routes where warranted, but always keeping at front of mind the need to ensure our Customers experience the Holidays they deserve.

But then, we can all see this coming to be fair I think.
