I don't think it's if it rises, but when.

There are clear expansion plans that have been stated by the BOD. This coupled with lower rents which can be negotiated in FUL's favour bodes well for a good return for those willing to take the risk here. I'm just surprised to see (or not see) others in the sector looking to use this philosophy with a view to expand their own empires. I would have thought that now would be a good time for any company to take full advantage of lower rents being available in empty premises. You'd think that there would be one or two that may well be positioned to take advantage. Unless I've missed them.

I'm not overly concerned myself. I'd topped up and got an average of 79p so I'm still up. I know that some here are in at higher averages, but I'm not selling. Happy to stay in here.

Yes, I'm in Mars as well as here. I'm staying in both as I do like both of them.

I've also got a small holding in FUL as a punt. Hoping to exit there @ 50p and possibly split the profit I make between these two. That's the plan anyway.

But then, best laid plans and all that!

Lol. I've got more chance of seeing £7 a share here by Christmas,winning both of next week's lottery draws, and bonking Carol Vorderman than cop for the other kind of swinging any time soon.

Thanks for the tip. I don't bother with AIM on any significant level, just the odd little flutter here and there, Nothing to shout about. I have a small punt in FUL at the moment, and hoping to cash in a small profit at some point to add a few extra in here. We shall see how that pans out.

I'm definitely staying here. I know that you're not supposed to get attached to a share, any share but sometimes it's hard not to, but I do like this Company.

That said, that has not stopped me swing trading it a couple of times in the past and added a few freebies along the way, but nothing to brag about. Although that said, I'm considering selling a few to swing trade a couple of Aim ones I've seen that I fancy for making a return on and then reinvesting it back in here along with the profit for a few more extra ones.

With it being a bank holiday weekend. An extra few quid coming in for us, which will be helpful.

I'm not too worried about this short term drop in the sp. I think it will recover.

I get why the market has reacted as it has to the news that the founder members of the board have sold off a large chunk of their holding. It is perfectly understandable for this to happen. I also understand why they have sold off. They're not sure exactly spring chickens, they are both in their retirement age group, and I can see why they would want to step back from the business and enjoy some free time to themselves. Had they both been in their 40's I would be concerned enough to be questioning their motives in a lot more detail.

I am a LTI in here, as I do like the Company. I have been known to trade the swings a couple of times here for a few extra freebies, and I have missed a trick here on this but that's just the way it is sometimes.

I'm more than happy to ride the storm here. Those that get the bus to get about will still use the bus.

I can't see all those passengers suddenly ditching the bus and buying cars simply because BS & his sister are selling their holding to retire somehow. I doubt that passengers will care a jot. They'll still just want their bus to take them where they are going.

That said, I think that I perhaps need to start thinking about how I can start making my limited funds can start to work a lot harder for me. I don't doubt That there are some good growth companies out there poised for success. It's just a question of fishing them out and wedding out the dogs.

I am quite fond of Mars myself personally, as I am with my holding of SGC. I have only a small 3000 holding in each. I did divert some of my SGC holding to buy in here, but I am considering doing the same thing with a small amount of my MARS holding to buy into something with growth potential.

I do want to keep my fingers in those 2 particular pies, but I'm starting to think about getting the limited funds I have working a lot harder and smarter for me.

Thanks for the info mate, but it wouldn't work so well for me. I don't drive.

I can get in and out of Wolverhampton to Stourbridge easy enough (we usually travel on the train) but it would be more cost effective to stay in Stourbridge itself, and eat & drink at The Glassworks (a Marston's pub).

It was good of you to point the place out though.

I did think there was an Inn in Dudley, but there's none listed on their website for there.

Yes, I saw an article about that. Scary figures there for them is that.

On the plus side, doubtlessly they (along with us) will hopefully benefit from increased bookings from Staycationers this year so fingers crossed.

We usually stay at a Premier Inn in Stourbridge when we visit our friends in The Midlands as I had thought there were no Marston's Inns in the area, which is a shame, as I don't really like the idea of giving our money to a competitor.

To their credit though, they do sell Hobgoblin Gold on draft.

That said though, I have spotted one for Marstons a number of times though.

I know you can put a stop to them by signing up to a subscription service mind, but given my limited funds, I'd rather not commit to that though.

I did have a cheeky little add here on Monday. I had planned to only buy a maximum of 2000 shares here as a punt, but I've gone beyond that. I've now got a humble holding of 3700 here.

This will tie in nicely with my Mars & SGC holdings as a recovery play for when normality returns

Although I am considering looking into DX.as a possible swing trade too.

It was Crawshaws butchers shops. They'd got quite a few up and running. I understand that they had teamed up with 2 sisters a while back and that was when I lost interest in them.

The one near us is called Sterling meats now so that's where we are with that one.

If Fulham Shore follow a similar pattern, I think that we'd see a similar outcome here sp wise, that was where I got my Guesstimate figures from.

The fact that they have been sniffing round several citys already is encouraging. Even if they open one restaurant in half of those places, it's a good start. And they'll be contributing to The coffers.

I for one will be watching proceedings with great interest.

I've seen this happen elsewhere. An aim company with huge expansion plans that were opening new shops seemingly every other month. Their share price went from roughly 17p (from memory) up to 68p.

I'm not sure what became of them as I stopped following them a few years back, but that said, I believe that if Fulham expand in a controlled way, taking advantage of potentially negotiating lower rents, I see no reason why 50p per share is not achievable within 12months or so, give ortake.
