Nice to see those on cloud Cookoo out in force. Maybe they've started on the Christmas sherry early, working their way up to harder stuff. I fancy them to be on the Egg Nog by the weekend. With any luck, they'll be up to the Hobgoblin Gold by Christmas Eve.

Maybe then, their ramblings might be come mildly amusing.

@Supercharger. Where have you got the idea that a takeover from? Have you seen something that I have missed? I've not seen anything to suggest that's even on the cards.

That all depends on your own poiMr of view. So you see value in the new larger company? Are you looking for growth value? Everyone invests in any company for different reasons. I'm in here because I like the company and because of historic good service from them.

Others of course will have their own reasons for holding.

I understand that the deadline for this is appropriately 16/12/21.

Hopefully news of a small dividend in there too perhaps? Hope so. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes up. Especially as I've recently doubled my holding here.

No sweat Barchid. Anyone that's had a holiday cancelled within the last 12 months or so knows the score. Hopefully you'll be able to get out there at some point in the new year. If SA is somewhere you've been before and liked, then it's a pain in the @rse when you can't get there.

North Africa is as about as deep as I have been on that continent myself. We went to Tunisia on our honeymoon some 20 years ago. My first time ever outside the EU. It all adds to the experience, that's for sure.

I always swore that I'd never ever go to the same place more than twice, as I'd always wanted to see as much of the world as I could afford, but an old workmates badgered the s_ _ t out of me to "go to Zante, to to Zante"so I relened in 2006.not been anywhere else since. there's something about the place that keeps drawing me in. When we went to Zakynthos last month after last year's trip was cancelled, it felt like a really huge thing.

Fingers crossed you won't have to wait too long for your trip mate.

Only with a couple of hundred quid, but I may well buy more at a later stage.

I was in there with a small holding up until this morning when I bailed.

I'm short, there seems to be a discrepancy within accounting announced within an RNS today with an announcement that trading the share is possibly going to be suspended in January. With that, it lost a fair bit of it's value throughout the day.

It may well be nothing, but if anyone here is in there too, you may want to look into it and evaluate the script for yourself.

This with a Director buy later today as well just in my eyes looks a little odd.

As I say, could be nothing, but I don't know. It just smells a bit off to me.

This RNS has muddied the waters. It may well be a storm in a tea cup, or maybe something bigger. None of us know for sure at this point.

For me, the sensible thing to do is to re-invest some of it elsewhere and see what transpires here to see what the problem was. I'll be holding some cash back to re-invest here should it be prudent to do so.

I've sold out on DX.on the back of an RNS that looks a bit moody. So I've doubled my holding here with it.

@JoeKenny. Any rise in so after those announcements would have been short lived in my view, as it often is with announcements like that until the expansion is delivered.

That said, for my money, increased take and turnover is very encouraging in my eyes from an investor's point of view. Plus the possibility of a dividend being announced in the not too distant.

That being the case, I really couldn't give a shiny sh*te about the low sp, as I always reinvest all my dividends, so a lower sp, the more "free" shares I get. Win win.

@ Barchid. A very thoughtful post. Not much there that I disagree with to be fair.

I'm not really in any rush to offload, as I don't need the money for anything in particular, nor do I think anything untoward is going on, but I am beginning to question when my humble holding here is going to restart paying it's way. As much as I like the company and it's brands, I'd still like to see it pulling it's weight.
