@Capitalizer - we know that when this moves then it moves fast (in both directions) but as you said - just after results - there is little incentive to hold here before we get closer to the June update.

Getting rid of the contact centres cause a mini rally that hasn't, so far, followed through .... so I'm thinking we are going to float around £2.55 - £2.85 for the next month or so before breaching £3 as we get towards the T/U ... unless more news triggers a renewed rally upwards ...

Both RBC and Cancord now calling between £8 and £9 a share here .... The mist is beginning to lift and the pathway to serious profitability is becoming much clearer

YET - at these levels we are still priced as though we might go bust! Not a chance - the smart money is on the table and we just need a little (albeit more) patience

@YTeeBack - I totally agree - all the decks have been cleared now and company has been turned around.

Get the CS Pension and Payroll contracts stabilised and then see who wants to buy a fabulous business for £9 plus per share

This will be sold before 2029 now (which was Staveleys' time frame)

@heat - Capita is Staveley second largest holding after RM.L - who he also describes as an early stage CPI in that it has lots of sticky Government contracts but the business is in a bit of a mess (so he's going to help sort them out).

RM looks an interesting punt at it's something I keep a watchful eye on.

@Badger - I totally agree that this share price will be viewed as being ridiculously low - probably in a few months let alone next year - I've also been buying back in £2500 tranches for the last 10 days and was thrilled to get some at a shade under £2.34 yesterday.

I think when the market see the Pension debacle has been sorted - and we move towards June T/U - this is going to explode back above £3 again ...

I think £4 will be on ice now until 2027 - but never say never with this share - it moves fast when it moves!

Would like to see Rockwood Staveley adding at these levels too (as he's the only one who hasn't topped up since the SP cratered) ... but I'll be happy if £2.30 was the bottom and we can start the healing process again now!

I think there is every chance that £2.30 was the bottom here (unless the war escalated further) so those standing on platform £2.25 may consider whether they want to risk missing the train again?

Riddle me this: What is a hedge fund (Oasis) located in Hong Kong with a FOCUS on ASIAN COMPANIES doing as they increase their stake to 15% in UK based Capita?

I think Capita is the only non Asian investment for Oasis - interesting or what?

@kipper - I banked £50k as a hedge immediately before results and sold off another £100k immediately after results so reduced my holding by 50% overall although I have been buying back here since the £2.60s (including some in the £2.30s today) in small £2500 tranches.

This will come good again - maybe in a month or two - but it's still falling right now (which is why we might see £2.25 but I don't think we'll see £2 but never say never).

Definitely a traders share right now but it's close to becoming an investors share too and especially at these levels

I agree with you re: L&G and I've amassed a £200k stake there with my Capita "winnings".

@aim - well I never thought we would see you again on Platform £2.25 - but (through my binoculars) I can see you standing there with your "I Love Capita* T shirt on.

Whether we make it back to your platform is academic because, admittedly due to a war and poor results and some disgruntled Civil Service Pensioners, you have indeed called this right - all the profit we had from an SP at £4 has vanished in a puff of smoke!

So - I'm hoping as we head back to your platform to pick you up - you will have the sense to get back on the train this time!

And then once you've boarded - I hope you stay onboard back to £4 (at the end of this year)

I pointed out - on The Civil Service Pension Forum on Facebook that it was the UNION that had caused the backlog that had led to the pensioners not getting paid etc.

That was the last message I was allowed to post on that forum before I WAS CANCELLED AND REMOVED.

It doesn't matter what you do for PCS members - most of them are so militant they would never say thank you and they are too politically motivated to see the truth from the union propaganda.

@nicknaim - two ways to look at this ....

I know you are in cash (you said so in an earlier post) - so you are looking for news that will cause the SP here to fall so that you can "time the market" and make a quick buck.

Alternatively - you could take the view that a 9.2% dividend for cash that is currently in the bank earning - at best - 4% from a rock solid company is an absolute gift.

I've been adding at these levels (and below) because whatever Trump does (or doesn't do) will only impact short term movement here and a 9%plus dividend should cancel out all the other short term noise!

An interesting article posted on the PCS union web site that confirms that the Government accepts there is a need to compensate pensioners (caught up in the MYCSP debacle).

What is interesting is that Capita are NOT blamed (or even mentioned in the article) - which means we must be making progress and The Cabinet Office are accepting responsibility!

@bubbles - I thought the presentation clearly showed and demonstrated the pathway to probability and re-rating.

At 16p (old money) the market are pricing this - again - to completely fail but the business already won combined with the profitability of the public sector and pensions businesses shows that the market is wrong!

After the decimation of shareholder value on the latest results - I sold a very substantial percentage of my core holding but I've now started buying back (at a further discount) as I don't think AH and Pablo could have presented anything better yesterday.

I know we just been patience again - but i am convinced the SP won't remain this low for long because the fundamentals don't support 16p - that's just a ridiculous valuation

Public Sector business is growing with 6.3%plus margins

Pensions business is growing with 15%plus margins

Civil Service Pension is getting sorted out and Cabinet Office acknowledges the problems were not caused by Capita.

Solid sales pipelines with high success ratio due to focused bidding on only the most winnable opportunities.

Contact Centre is the problem child (that's actively being addressed) which is causing a drag on the group margins.

So keep growing public sector busines, keep growing pension business, fix Contact Centre profitability (by offshoring) and we should all be off to Kenpton Park Races as the business totally re-rates.

If you've got time to watch the presentation - do - it was a pleasure to watch and hugely informative.

You are all forgetting TACO - Trump Always Chickens Out - this war will end very soon with Trump declaring a total victory (on terms yet to be defined) and then everything will calm down ...

Although it looks like inflation has been introduced back into the world economy so it's going to take a while to get back to where we were ...

@MT100 - I don't think we will see £2.20 - we didn't even see £2.20 when the SP cratered last summer - although some here (well only @aim actually) has been willing a SP of £2.25 since last autumn - and it's taken poor results, a civil service pension crisis and a war for her hope to be within striking distance.

For me - £2.30 is possible but I'm hoping we've seen the worst of the storm now - the UT trade was up at close so I a little optimism for tomorrow!

@maxjh Thanks for posting the latest Civil Service Pension update and it's fantastic news that Capita are beginning to get on top of it AND AND AND the unions are being less vocal as the situation improves.

As I posted before - I recently got cancelled from the "Civil Service Pension Support forum" otherwise known as "Let's all blame Capita forum" for daring to try and being some perspective.

One of my most controversial posts was to point out that a pensioner who has retired in June 2025 should have had the pension sorted out by MYCSP (as Capita didn't take over until December 1st) - and if THE UNION hadn't called a strike that created a backlog then MAYBE JUST MAYBE the retirees pension would have been processed in time!

So basically it's the Unions fault .....

Haha I didn't last more than 20 minutes after posting that which just goes to show who is running that forum!

@MT100 - CPI has always been a rollercoaster - as fast as it moves up - it also moves down - in many ways it's not an investors share because of its volatily and it is often treated as a plaything by the MM.

Don't worry about averaging down too early - we've all done that (including me) - just hold onto what you've got!

BNP adding again yesterday together with all the other director and II purchases in the last week confirm we are undervalued at the moment.

MM are holding this down at the moment but that isn't going to last forever
