Carbon comes in many forms. You don’t need the most expensive production techniques for some mass market use. Directa has the technology to blend graphene based products to bespoke customer and market need to maximise the properties of graphene at scaleable cost and there are not many produces that can do that. Hence the growth in the G+ range. E.g...
Dub-Masterplast G+ is a family of thermoplastic masterbatches of pristine graphene nanoplatelets (G+). This material is produced according to customer need in terms of polymer type, G+ grade and concentration.
Dub-Masterplast G+ products, being in granular form, dramatically facilitate the incorporation of graphene nanoplatelets into the final compound and ensure a faster dispersion and distribution compared with traditional fillers. The typical concentration of G+ ranges from 10 to 20 wt%.
Matrices already available and developed, using Dub-Masterplast G+, for specific applications include:
polyammide6 (PA6)
polycarbonate (PC)
polypropylene (PP)
polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
Directa Plus is able to create and produce tailor-made masterbatches to satisfy clients’ specific requirements.
Some peeps do not get the scaleability issues, market potential and variety of uses for different forms of Graphene. Companies like VRS and DCTA are making first mover into those markets. Where DCTA miss a trick imo is their pr is poor. You would think they were more of a reserved British co where on the other hand VRS has its shareholder engagement nailed on. Just look at the other news in Directa’s interims, some of that could have been RNSd in the recent news lull, yet Directa’s financials have been excellent. It’s not the graphene that is the difference it’s the PR. AIM thrives on news and numbers seem to only do so much talking. I am happy to hold here as l (and the directors, 52p) seem to think we are undervalued. The trouble with these stocks is they can suddenly rerate to fair value from out of the blue. You just got to DYOR and wait according to your individual circumstances. Trek.
