Anyways VRS will be fine either way. If we are out they may even get a fillip from utility money, as there will probably be another GE, if we’re in its status quo. When investing one has to be mindful of politics but don’t invest based on ones own ideology unless it comprises core principles. E.g. I don’t invest in arms or tobacco, but I sold all my utilities even though last time I voted Tory. I have voted for them all in the past and possibly may do again at some point in the future. I haven’t missed any excitement, been here (vrs) since early days. Two advantages, 1) political will to show Brexit will work insofar as trade outside of current Eurocracy benefits VRS. 2) currency tailwinds. FWIW Trek is a remainer but its currently the will of the people so have to get on with it. I so hope it turns out to be a millennium non event but I fear it won’t. That aside I stand by vrs is unusual insofar as it’s a good investment either way. Trek. £10.

NR alluded to more amazing news on his last podcast with all that is going on in China . Ii's are taking note of vrs, they would have seen the rise and noted how PIs have sniffed this one out. We have a new disruptive tech co that can actually benefit from brexit. IMO, on a forecast basis we are still cheap. The early mover advantage and contacts that vrs now have are worth millions! Ii's will not want to miss out on a co that could grow into billions in mcap, the opportunities for vrs are staggering. As long as it’s not price sensitive he can do it. The nomad must have had kittens though but I guess it’s no different than Neil Ricketts, VRS, CEO, who is a regular user of Twitter and has been known to call out untruths by bashers.

Re DPL, I sold instead of waiting for the ORPR shares and put most of the money in ENEG, BPC and XEL. lol!

Still I have clawed back a £85k hit on XEL over the years thanks to a few stunners like VRS (16p average) and BPC (1.7p) which is now nicely back in profit.

I sincerely hope this comes off for all here as it’s mostly PI’s and just a modest investment can be truely life changing for so many families. GLA. Trek.

Picked up 10000 at 8.99p as I am pretty much fully invested now, just got enough left to double up if it’s a duster or if there is oil will let it ride and forget about it. £900 bet on 1 or more from 6 just seems to good to be true. MATD has been on my watchlist for years and thus far I am glad I didn’t buy. As a XEL holder I feel the pain of long term PIs in here so hope it comes good for you. Wish I had more to put in but it’s better than nowt. Time will tell. Trek.

Agree and add into mix divi cover and whilst divi is good there was no guarantees in chairman’s statement that divi would be maintained. Sure guidance was unchanged for 18 against falling revenues but I am getting more and more nervous around divi cover and may offload some of my holding here as short term 150 looks more likely than 200. Typically the majority of brokers have Vod as a buy with are target sp of up to 260! Wtf do they know! Just try a bundle price match on line for your research against a horrid chart. I swapped to NowTv for BB 20 quid a month! It’s tough out there. Same across Europe, I have no idea about the India shenanigans but history shows that the regulation and competitiveness will evolve to be the same. Amazing that the SP didnt tank at 1520 today. For an AIM co it has held up remarkably well given vol of sales. Trust me I hold BPC, OPTI and VRS amongst others but they have had a heck of a week on pretty thin volumes this week. SAVP just a slow drip by comparison. We may get a double lift once seller clears and 7 news but I do expect it to be somewhat subdued by a lot of profit taking. Trek.

Oh DYOR, yep there is likely oil in them waters with a 30% Cos on a scale akin to the Middle Eastern mega fields and we are at last at binary stage, deal or no deal. Pretty huge gains if all comes off according to Malcy but ya gotta be in it for the chance of the highest multiples, pay more later or it all goes ***s. I don’t get the panic on no news or no big sells, each to their own. We will probably be off again soon crushed in a stampede of headless sycophants trying to get back in afraid that they missed the deal of a lifetime. Trek, take cover!

Gosh this is a day traders dream atm. See the larger trades are now buys getting ready to offload on the bounce. Lots of PIs selling less than 200k of shares but others moving in. What a nightmare. Still it’s all part of AIM as I read it. Trek sitting on my hands waiting for THE news.

Because Malcy says we could have to wait another two months. And we are all so good at trading on AIM that we can double our money elsewhere before coming back to BPC just in time to double again. Lol!

I met up with Eytan Uliel, Commercial Director of BPC yesterday as he is in London talking to investors about current events. Clearly almost all of what I wanted to discuss was off limits but he did give me some ideas about how things were going.

The name of the super-major who is in detailed and confidential discussions is clearly not going to be disclosed right now but a lot of work is being done. We have recently seen the rollover by one month of the initial three month agreement and this I suspect will be rolled over probably for another two months. I don’t think that there is anything bullish or bearish to read into this as some have suggested but just a lot of data to process.

It is my own thinking that it looks like any deal that might happen here would involve BPC farming down quite a large chunk of its stake in the project but that even a modest residual holding would result in a huge rise in the shares. It is worth saying that at this stage all of the options are still on the table and given my knowledge of these sorts of negotiations anything might happen. This makes BPC a most fascinating share at the moment and whilst the upside is huge there is undoubtedly a possibility of a major disappointment which should enter all calculations.

Been expecting this (my post 3rd Aug), just surprised its taken so long. There is often a bear raid on illiquid momentum stocks. I expect there is more to come but director buys aside what has really helped underpin the sp is the placing coz cash calls are often the plague of aim and can lead to much greater volatility. At least we are funded and I favour further monetisation news from hear as opposed to negatives. Sure the pe is off the scale but that is just a reflection of fledgling Cos, similar to vrs. You either buy the story and pay the price or watch from the sidelines until your comfortable. Still a long long way to go. Trek comfortable.

Clawing its way back to £2. 2 steps forward one back.... will get there eventually. Not long now before the vultures appear with something a little more sensible. £2.80 should do it as the market doesnt attribute fair value to AIM until its sold. Trek.

Re Brexit. LGEN employee around 8500 people with several HQs in other European capitals other than London. In the event of a no deal Brexit they could domicile elsewhere or dual domicile. Money always adapts and the British financial system is the best at adapting through whatever means. Re my personal politics I voted remain but am of the view of JFDI now and this govt will be the last we will see of the Torres for many years to come. Hence why LGEN divi is oh so important.
