Holdings RNS, the event has diluted Odey by 1%.

Interesting though is that they no longer hold any notifiable financial instruments. These have gradually reduced to now zero. Probably a CFD to cover their holdings.

So now they are just happy to hold stock like the majority of us. Don’t get me wrong I fully expect them to take profits at some point. Just not now though hey!

I think we’ll hear after. I interpret it as the funding deadline has been extended ergo they may then decide afterwards unless the bids are all in in sufficient time for them to announce just after.

I doubt we’ll see any late bids as they would effectively self rule out but what we will probably get is 2nd or 3rd rounds to the wire so no news on 30th is nothing to worry about.

Only the later but the first may be via RNS reach unless submission is deemed significant by the nomad but definitely the later wether accepted or rejected as it is significant.

Significant is open to interpretation so avacta will just go with the nomads rec and in this instance would in all probability want to let the market know of submission. My interpretation.

Looks like they can’t contain the buying pressure. With the general market’s in turmoil AVCT is standing out now as an island for additional punt money sub £2 from those that missed the earlier boat. And why not amazing upside from here, clock is running down. We are due a 20% rise day imo.

It’s because the LSE Algorithm lags the trade by up to 15mins so on a rising SP buys look like sells as they appear below the mid point. The SP has gone up a tad since the algorithm ran.

On a falling SP sells look like buys as the are above the mid point. The sp gone down since the algorithm ran.

Ignore buys sells it matters not. Look at the volume over a given period and the SP trajectory. So over 1week, 2 weeks or 4 weeks the SP is up and you can see the rising/falling candles on any free chart and even click on the RSI and you will see that the overwhelming momentum is up.

All this stuff is freely available on the London Stock Exchange homepage or marketscreener.

It’s not rocket science, it may sound clever but it’s basic research.

Set the time period to two months.
Look at the green candles = rising SP
Look at the trends and resistance short term 183
Mid term 202.

After that it gets a bit more complex but it answers the here and now.

I’m ok I think my average is around 7.9p. Got so many flipping accounts with these in now!

Anyways I thought the run of those earlier trades were sells. Note the two cancellations, with a negative sign in front. They pulled the plug on those. I don’t get that you would do that if buying at that price but you would if selling hoping to keep the price ranged.

Reckon we’ll have another go at 8 tomorrow. It will crack soon. It’s been like this since March! Once it closes above 8 for a few sessions people will buy. Volume will come with a higher close. You’d have thought the seller would have worked that out!

Longer it goes the more convinced I am and will buy below 8 and aim to get a free carry outta here!

I saw the gap at 82.5p. Looks like it may get filled. I sold a few more here ahead of it. Now taken out all my stake and on a 120% free carry for a tad under £20k which is decent That can defo stay for the ride now. Was going to leave it all in but needed to add at GRL, AVCT and SAVE. Gotta work that cash!

Here’s the gap. Hopefully if it fills quickly we may have just had a very brief pullback and that short could look very silly! 92p is resistance.

Heading for 2000 trades today, that’s decent volume. AVCT also was in ii top 10 traded shares fo4 the month. Only 312 posts here so far today. We were over 1000 posts last time on the run to £2. So much more enthusiasm to come.

Sometimes there is obvious data starring right at you that is overlooked. Sentiment drives a sp! Looks like we are heading for buckets of the stuff!

Well said mate. I’ve been buying here gradually but can’t get anything today. Can sell a tad under 500k on auto sell but can’t buy a bean. I have just put a buy through for £2175ish left from another trade. Wonder what it will go through at. Google showing 8.1-8.3 today.

Yes it is good news but the time to produce is too slow. The BoD are not capitalising on the tech here. The no of shares held and the mcap are a huge trading attraction and the product lines could be awesome. They are just so slow and don’t articulate the scope.

A takeover here would be the best option to force some pace and offload the RF stuff. The company is just not able to get going organically.

All that said I so love the environmental credentials and imo the sp is oversold. If I had some spare cash I’d be back in as it could go to £4 relatively quickly. Sub £1.50 was well oversold.

If you are buying it may be worth asking your broker to deal OTC to beat the spread.

Citadel are using the same charts as we are. I called 101. It may or may not get there. We all know it’s a vague science but I also called a bullish pull back from 101. You’d probably get a few more buyers into that theory. A pullback that is.

They may have read the ‘bones’ as a pull back from 91p. What better a way to get some cheap stock especially if you held a few from the 60’s below notifiable threshold that you could dump to kick things off.

It doesn’t take much volume to shift this stock by big %. They know that!

The alternative is that they are privy to what the market doesn’t know. I doubt that. Look at the other Co’s they have shorted. This is a trading play. TBH I’d short my own shares here temporarily other than for the house rules preventing me. I never short or long anything on AIM due to the vix.

They may have completed some DD on the time to readouts and believe they can close the trade ahead of results.

I remember seeing Lanstead run a short on IMM ahead of a P2 read out. They closed it just in time, made a few bob but the irony was lupizor, IMM’s ramped blockbuster Lupus drug did not achieve statistical deviation over placebo. Had they held they’d have made serious coin but they closed ahead of the readout.

IMM were a one drug wonder co with a peptide twist and the CEO still is a clown imo with no skin in the co.

4D on the other hand has multiple shots on goal and a BoD of self made millionaires that have invested serious wealth in 4D. A big difference.

There’s been no holes in the science here, Merck still playing. Funding has been oversubscribed. BoD are seriously invested and competent.

I bought when Acacia and Ocean when they were forced sellers. Now look. I get another chance to put some profits back in at a lower price when some technical shorter telegraphs an obvious play. Thanks!

Hi Bilkos,

As soon as I did my tick sheet post MCAP and No of Shares in issue came to mind. I have a nerdy excel at home to filter my gold plays. Obviously Mcap was on that one and GRL whittled it’s way to the top of the selection pops!

I can’t believe there are so few posts here. There are other miners where the BB is ablaze and yet GRL offers so much more in terms of high impact ‘short term’ risk reward. Oh well!

Let’s just be clear that those moaning about Tanzania being ‘difficult’ was primarily due to the mining act. SHG pay fair wages, employ local people, supported Covid educational programs, provided ppe and are active in the community. That is not an expense it’s an investment. Sure VAT rebates are slow coming through but do you know what that’s not just Tanzania.

I could actually make a case against Scotgold (where I am also invested). Fiscally unstable with numerous tax changes. Difficult to get planning consent. Political risk with Scottish independence and Brexit. Impending tax bill from Covid, ageing demographic.

Pick your narrative!

The likes of Tanzania and Ghana are not bad places to do business.

Like I said BCH leads the way! Need to be above $12500 though then could see a big leg up. Funny how ETH gone quiet. I think peeps are buying BTC or Gold now for similar reasons. It would be good to establish some coupling somewhere!

Imo wait for the ADR’s to be listed. Peeps expect a lift I think once all settles this will drift. After disappointing results it’s gonna take some decent H2 numbers to change sentiment. They have cash and plenty of it now but if it’s not being converted to revenues they need to acquire. Organic growth doesn’t seem to be coming through. If they can use the ADR’s to buy a cash generative US biotech all well and good but atm not sure of the direction other than trying to make what you have last! Usual caveats.
