Why would you be surprised at the arbitrage, it’s normal. London is a lagging declining, sht market! Lost its way a long time ago. It’s for traders now to short, CFD, and make money from hedging not investing. IPO’s going elsewhere or not bothering as they know their shares will be shorted and sold on listing for a quick buck.

Look at the recent RNS from TENT, put itself up for sale as the NAV discount is now so extreme that it’s no longer worth raising capital. Better to sell up and give money back to shareholders. More will follow!

I hold SEPL it’s 2310 Nigerian Nairas. That equates to £2.30 in GBP.

The London price is £1.29.

For sure there are fx costs and gbp is sexier than Naira but that’s a 56% discount in London! That’s crazy!

And to show the yield in Nigeria is 4.02% and in the UK it’s 7.27% excluding special divi’s for both holdings.

No matter how you cut it London has lost it. Paris, Frankfurt and New York are not seeing these issues. Even the EU is climbing above London as a financial institution.

Danger is lots of dual listed shares won’t bother with London soon and others will list in Frankfurt and NY

The difficulty in sorting out the PAF tax divi is another case in point!

Esp if you are in no hurry to sell. This is a fully funded junior E&P company now with little debt. It’s in a safe but laid back juro! lol!

24/25 should be transformational for the company. Those ruing the gas price; it could yet turn out to be a saviour in this El Niño year!

In below 70p is a huge accumulation point imo. Then just wait for the program to play out.

Punters should know the score by now. Buy double sell half into news. Recycle up or down stay in the game! It’s the safest way to play these small caps without getting wiped out or locked in.

Alternatively buy hold, hug and close your eyes!

Sometimes that pays off but if ya go back to the charts there aren’t many winners even still!

DEST should see spread close and volume pick up will make trading a % of it an easier proposition then.

ECOR, lots of director buys. Sp just broke to upside. Target 90p short term but I can see it going back to 100p. Pays good quarterly divi as well. I used to hold dont but would buy now if I could.

It usually lags caml also good yield that is now moving.

Both quality companies not your AIM minnow infatuations!

May offer up a few bargains!

Another typical patter where a SP drips and drips and then just one bit of news and it rerates over a few sessions. Miss those and you potentially miss the biggest gains!

Anyone notice how stocks tend to drip, drip, down. But when they go up there tends to be a big step. You only need to miss those one or two up days and you can miss the biggest part of the gains.

DEC is an illustration (not a plug) drip, drip, then yesterday and today and possible another day or two of big rises. If you were on the sidelines then it could be painful!

I expect the same here. A few pence or more over a couple of sessions to form new support.

Hence I am reluctant to trade this one from this level.

Yes I have a full carbon Trek Madone, it only comes out in the dry though, usually very early on a summers morning.

No I have not been to cycling Mecca though.

Tbh, tend to spend most of my time on a MTB now mostly due to the bad weather, hazardous roads and getting older and larger all the time! lol!

Had to break down trades to buy 35k worth this morning.

With the short term bearish outlook for gas prices due to warmer winter TXP are actually in a rather unique position where they can sell as much as they want at a fixed price!

Bullish case for gas is in a year coinciding when US LNG exports kick off. Many unhedged gas producers will struggle imo. Price will then go up and EU will take US gas and price will come back down again!

TXP are in a good full cyclical position if Paul gets his act together!

My sincere apologies. It’s my fault. Whatever one does or say there is no excuse for hubris.

I let my euphoria get ahead of me. It’s been so tough this year, been on a razor edge at times and today was such a relief after so much hard work. But really in the scheme of things it isn’t compared to what many have to do.

Trust me I have experienced both sides, a diverse family, cancer, the usual challenges of life! And I started out on a tough council estate! Even got a car before my dad did as we had no money!

I wont go into it but I like to think I am grounded and have been extremely generous with giving. However, being able to give is an amazing position to be in.

Just being born in the west is in itself akin to winning the lottery of life!

I really hope whatever you are going through works out ok.

I try, well usually try, and post from the perspective of trying to help others and avoid conflicts. I genuinely think we should work together. Let my guard down today! Sorry mate.

After over a whole year of most of our holdings being trashed I think we are due a euphoric day!

FTSE back to where it was after some huge up and downs!

Let’s just hope for a nice steady gradual rise from here, no wars, suicideeconomics, taper tantrums, peak rates or run away inflation….

Not sure I could cope with another run like that and maintain some sanity!

It’s sht that but don’t jump to conclusions, I am not a politician.

I gave 100% one one of my divis’ to crisis and donate every year and volunteer at the local Foodbank amongst other things.

And if I didn’t spend time researching this I wouldn’t be able to do sd all + all the trading taxes!

This is an income same as others that buy and sell do you give two months income to charity every year!

BWY + 2.76%

BDEV +2.99%

CRST + 4.99%

PSN + 5.1%

VTY + 7.08%

Others also up but those above are my favs on previous research. PSN will run a long way once BoE softens which will come soon given GBP strength and of course election.

More leveraged plays always do better but if you wanna balance income via a divi with risk then next year BWY and PSN are one way bets imo!

That’s a fair shout especially given the recent turn of events and Cu knocking on 3.9! USD down and 10 years below 4%.

But I have made money where I flipped to and I also still have plenty in here.

Been in this game long enough, well it’s been my main source of income now for 7 years so that’s not bad! Beats working! lol.

But sometimes if things change one also has to change and protect capital.

I could now average back in here or buy later after news if positive once it gets through the NT as hardly a soul has heard of PXC!

Atm after today I have made good returns elsewhere so I could slice there and flip some back in here and even if the can gets kicked again I would still now be up on the bottom line. If that makes sense.
