With you on the concept of subtle deramping earthling, a pattern I have noticed on several boards. They are getting better at it as it used to be more obvious. My gut feel was that a few PIs just got together on a whatsapp group to work together and support it by creating a concensus on a board. Now my feeling is insiders use this to push an agenda prior to significant announcements to create an acceptable price on the share. Too clever to pin down but you can smell the change in mood on a board.

An interesting thought tester, it would keep the lawyers in employment for years ??

Earthling,I am well aware of the games MMs can play, sat on my hands and pleasantly surprised after cutting the grass but many decent people have been seriously shafted by a system that is supposed to be regulated,even loosely.

I ain't speaking from any personal loss but many decent people have lost money, holders and buyers since monday. They could have been gambling or just investors but have bought in good faith aware of fund interestbut could easily have been spooked by a manufactured and dishonest drop in price. This sordid deal shames the UK.

Defies logic, supposedly 46m bought and 23mn sold yet we see nearly 8 % drop ? Inclined to think we will see announcements tonight from the fund and new targets from brokers on monday to see this recover on monday.

Confident that is the case addict, just too daft to imagine a fund of that scale employing people daft enough to announce in advance the purchase of so many shares that will cost them millions more than necessary. Not exactly sure what mechanism they might use but too daft for words otherwise.

But had ti smile earlier, rose late then switched on site to see blue,as expected, and a price of 26.9. After punching the air a second look showed the SOLG board that I glanced at before switching off last night ! Well done enrico,still think this week has legs, looks like big boys waiting to step in.

My guess is based on MMs taking a flyer and opening high to see strength, 23.9 for me, gd luck all

Traders expecting an answer by 2-30 blaming the yanks for others being impatient ?? I expect nothing much today but monday will be interesting.

How could they issue a guide valuation when they are as aware as any of the impending decision about fund inclusion. Maybe on monday or tuesday we might get a new price valuation.

Amusing to see a half hearted attempt to treeshake at start of trading, opened 17.4 down to 16.9,must have tricked a few but the wealth of quality input made it easy to let that pass. Paddy and the regulars have given me the resolve to sit and wait but I must offer gratitude to Christophe for the post about GDXJ, many might have not chosen to share that. Worth watching MMs first thing tomorrow shaking to grab a few shares before news releases as it can seem like an age between 8am and late afternoon while sp is dropping !

I don't pretend to have the depth of knowledge that some display but surely GDX-J has to be the more likely as GGP not mining and is junior to the exchange ?

Last weeks excellent info about GDX-J has to be part of this rise. Cant believe that fund managers of that level just wait until an announcement date to accumulate after announcing to the world they will be buying a huge chunk. Preemptive buying would be a minimum risk and save cost.

Until the derampers team come on and talk trivia. Easily spotted by a handful of prior postings,negative headline so that it gets repeated unwittingly by normal posters and often malice to discourage respected posters who get disheartened. They have to be a teamed set up by MMs , shorters or companies wishing to depress the sp for an ulterior motive.

It would be nice to know what GH thinks of that. Was SB downplaying the value of Havieron and do I have to listen to potential suitors to get full value or do we have a tacit agreement subject to .....
