RE: ?China warns of “High virus resurgence risk”?15 Jun 2020 07:49
Would have thought that any resurgence would only boost covid stocks as it reminds the public about the need for testing and solutions. Hope we hear about design freeze this week and step up activity.
On AIM we have the following investment advice Short term buy then sell by end of day Medium term buy then sell tomorrow Long term buy and keep at least a week
This is the point of it, Jam today or more Jam tomorrow. Strikes me that the CEO values the ongoing revenue far in excess of past numbers. A short term hit lets traders dance around but expecting further news to quantify all that soon.
Is that there is more to come. Maybe tonight if not later this week but suspending allergy work is quite deliberate in order to take advantage of a lucrative commercial opportunity. Possibly this cooperation goes one step further into a merger/takeover step.
Just thinking aloud but does anyone think this RNS is a precursor to an imminent announcement by the government ? Reads more informative rather regulatory to me.
Deliberate technique by a few traders, sell after a rise, buy back a greater number of shares later. Gamble no sudden rise if caught out by RNS but keep cash anyway.
Is that the swedish concept of humour ? Quick kurt, you can splash another 80mn krona on exploration , probably the only decision we are able to take in this rat infested government.
Final word from me, the daily malice has changed tack since it has a new editor, watch closely.I suppose you both voted remain,I have long wanted to get out of this corrupt EU,sooner the better, back to ODX chaps,gd luck
Not sure this government would ever have a chance with the ranks of Remainer media, the BBC,SKY,Guardian etc queuing up to campaign against it from the beginning of a national crisis. Article by FT stats guru recently rubbished the concept that UK has been as bad as painted. Apparently,if we had counted fatalities in the manner of some EU countries we would have overperformed. One more reason that I distrust all of our media.
I am old enough to remember when our media was extolling the virtue of Swedish handling of the coronavirus ! The deceit surrounding this government fills me with contempt. I do hate admitting it but lbjj has been proved right all along.
RE: Quarantine, I'm not bothered!!!3 Jun 2020 17:07
Cant see anyone younger than 30 being put off travelling but quarantine for 14 days might. Suspect that will not last long for Air Bridge destinations.
If they are always trying to slip in political criticism the briefings may as well be a political figure to sto any chance of misunderstandings. Media have ruined these briefings.
We really should have an update tomorrow about Lansdowne's position. Millions sold into the market lately has to have crossed a threshold or two. If not the company should push them to report in order to stop the stagnation. As this hangs over us too many PI's can trade up and down at will. Knowing the score plènty can sell high and buy back low as MMs sell into the market too. Now and again they try to walk it back up to sell into PI's again who panic thinking its going to rise again ! This share needs investors happy to wait or a proactive company to rid us of the malaise from march.
All about Lansdowne collecting free money from 35p placing. Two months ago I chose SNG above AVCT against my better judgement, 30% drop versus 300% gain ??
Well said scrab, my belief is the home trials will set SNG above the rest. Treatments within hospitals can be a competitive field. Home trials could benefit GPs and prevention being better than a cure would be massive market to impact second or third waves. All IMHO.
Interesting piece on BBC lunchtime news about trials for vaccine impact. The SNG trials need that kind of exposure, doesnt need to impact the integrity just a bit better marketing instead of being absorbed in the science.
