Without a doubt I am hugely disappointed with the retrace but my firm belief is that the management has done nothing wrong.
It’s probably true the share price went ahead of itself and we have seen the flip side of this over the last few days. But we have heard no bad news yet. The Croda deal does seem to be taking longer to come to fruition than we had hoped but we are told that additional claims are being validated that I hope will result in a higher value product, higher royalties and an increased IP value. Personally, I’m willing to accept this. I have no reason whatsoever not to trust this management team. I think they are strong and I will remain a long term shareholder. Just my personal view.

Yes, I completely take your point.
My average is lower than where we are now so it is easier to see the ‘long term picture’.
As I said, it’s all down to 2022 results now. In terms of long term share price performance nothing else matters.
I echo the thoughts of hstcks2.
In my view the Sbtx management has done nothing wrong and many things right.
Of course it’s hugely disappointing to see the share price retrace. This is partly caused by the fact that placing a value on a company which until recently had not launched its first product is incredibly difficult and prone to volatility.
But if you believe the gut-skin axis is an emerging area of science that can lead to the development of products which have a beneficial impact on a variety of conditions then, in my view, I see no reason why we should be disappointed with the company’s actual performance or indeed the RNS today.
Next year is incredibly important. As the RNS said, the company will focus on the marketing of our first product, the development of a second for acne and of course some free money in the form of royalties from Croda/Sederma.
I’m a LTH and as always hoping for a good year in 2022.

Read your most recent posts and just randomly visited the NPF website this morning.
Pleased to report our ad appears on at least the first four pages.
Good work SA.
Ok, I understand what you are saying.
Thanks belgrano.
Your posts, as well as elrico’s, provide additional insight which I appreciate.
I’ve loaded up heavily here so am keeping a close and watchful eye. GLA
Hi belgrano
When you mention the “very sizeable quantities mentioned (almost five figures)”, are you really saying we’ve despatched almost 10,000 orders? Is this what I should infer?
If you even give a hint that the answer to this question is yes, it will make my day, no it won’t, it’ll make my week :-)
Thanks elrico
The simple point I wanted to make is that Sbtx didn’t place the shares in the traditional sense i.e. to raise fresh capital. Opti clearly initiated the sale of some of their shareholding and as you have pointed out SA supported this process by helping find institutional investors.
Thanks for helping clarify SA’s role.
I’m a little confused by some of the financial reporting this morning.
It has been reported that Sbtx has ‘launched a discounted placing’.
Well, no it hasn’t.
Opti has found a buyer or buyers for some of its shareholding and placed the shares with them.
Sbtx has been informed and therefore issued the RNS.
This is my reading of it. Sbtx has initiated absolutely nothing.
Ok, thanks minded. I really hadn’t noticed it before. Strange though that they’ve kept a ticker/company name that has been redundant for over a year.
Monday should be interesting though. If the share sale is Opti offloading I’m not sure what the market will do to either the Sbtx or Opti share prices.
Ultimately, however, it’s the sales that will determine the direction of the share price. Everything else will have a temporary impact only.
Take a look at the Sbtx website. It has changed.
A stock exchange ticker has been included which reports various share prices, not only that of Sbtx but also Opti, Croda and another company called Integumen.
I can’t even find Integumen as a quoted company on the stock exchange. A company by that name seems to have merged last year and changed its name to Deepverge PLC.
Can anyone shed any light on any of this? In my view it’s all pretty unusual, even quoting other company’s share prices on your own website.

What I meant was, does anyone know if the Psoriasis Association in the UK is supporting the launch in any way just as the NPF in the US seems to be with the many adverts on their site.
I’ve been going back to the NPF website regularly over the last few days.
Our advert is visible in at least three different locations and it appears at the top of each section.
What fantastic partner to have!
It must be creating lots of awareness.
Let’s hope those subscriptions really are growing ‘at an alarming rate’.
Unfortunately I can’t see anything on the UK site.
Does anyone have an information as to whether they may be a partner as well?
Our advert is still there. First up when I looked in :-)
It couldn’t possibly be in a better place. Well done to the Sbtx team.
It’s all about awareness, awareness, awareness and a steady increase in those subscriptions !
Have a good day all.
Thanks 40plus
Great to listen to.
Apologies if you’ve all seen this but for the first time I’ve seen an AxisBiotix advert on the NPF website in the US.
It’s made my evening.
From the menu, select ‘Treatments for Psoriatic Disease’ and it appears almost as the first icon. It provides a click through to the AxisBiotix site.
Incidentally, I went in again shortly after and the advert had changed so you might not see it first time but the next time I went in it was back again. So we’re not sharing space with too many other adverts.
Surely this must be creating great awareness. Let hope some good numbers decide to give it a go.
Yes researcher, that’ll be the Croda Express, running on time and non-stop to some juicy royalty payments hopefully.
There have been some bizarre price movements here lately, both before and since the launch.
But this is a market and markets need price movements to stimulate buyers and sellers into action. This is how they make their money.
I for one have seen nothing in the news to suggest anything negative following the launch. Crikey, it’s only been four days!
Of course, if I’ve missed something please could someone let me know.
Our share price is dancing around today like Fred Astaire.
If we were to achieve a customer retention level of say 50% this would be truly incredible.
Just think of how much good that would do to people’s lives and to our share price. GLA
Thanks Farris
If this is confirmed at £250m that would be great news.
I don’t know how many years it would take for the Skinbiotix lysate to achieve anything like this level of sales but a 10% royalty would be a great revenue stream.
