I think (and this could be dangerous) that the mm's could be driving this down to try and scare out the CFD trade knowing that the share price will jump up quite rapidly on news? only my opinion of course and I have nothing to back this up with.

I should also add that my understanding of this all comes from the classic 1983 movie starring the ever great Eddie Murphy “Trading Places” it where I get all my trading knowledge from ;)

I think that’s one of the fundamental differences between a spread bet and a CFD is that they are underpinned with actual shares... that’s always been my understanding but could be talking nonsense

when you go long on a CFD it's a leveraged trade so you basically take ownership of the shares by only putting down a "deposit" meaning no one else can buy or trade them then when the price increases enough you flood them all back onto the market in the hope someone will buy them at a higher price... you would do this if you can't cover the cost of the full value of the number of shares you want but yeah if it goes bad and the price drops (like today) you have to pay to keep hold of them, the 5% drop today will be costing these guys dearly... wouldn't surprise me if they have to sell a few again to cover the current loss. Someones bum will be twitching at intertrader today I'm confident of that haha

you'll struggle to find a firm that will take a short on a market cap this small.

Genuinely couldn't care if it doesn't move in the next two weeks... if it doesn't move after we get the expected news then it's time to start doing a deeper dive into whats going on.

No way of knowing until the Atomic deal is signed off. This may be one reason for the sentiment of the market towards this stock right, traders and investors alike will want in once news drops.

Think everyone on here this morning just needs to have some patience and let things play out the way they will play out, everyone thought the deal would be completed now, hence the share price is falling because there isn't much going on. The share price would be holding steady if there was income coming in as it would have something propping it up, this can drop down to.1p if it likes between now and deal completion and it makes FA difference, as the company will be valued fairly in 12-18months. If it's not valued fairly at that point, I would assume Art will start buying back shares at a heavily discounted price. Then again we may still be issuing shares to tick over if no deals complete... this is the stockmarket and the gamble you take with a tiny oiler like COPL.

RBD raising more funds at significantly less than last raise? Surely not...

I dare say at this point it's out of Atomic's hands. If creditors are calling in debt, Atomic doesn't have the luxury of going to the highest bidder, the creditors will be telling them "that's your lot"... I dare say that Art wasn't allowed to go public with this before the deal was accepted on some sort of agreement, things like this tend not to get out on a handshake alone.

Not sure why they are even disclosing now, if they are intending to clear the decks they don't have to disclose until it goes under 3% unless this is their new position that they are sticking with? could be wrong
