Lets revisit the RNS

"ODX confirms that it is in discussions with certain investors and shareholders regarding a potential equity fundraising."

So it is a fact that they have confirmed they are seeking equity. We need to ask why? Usually it's because you need money.

"Market conditions remain challenging and accordingly any issue of equity would be at a discount to the current share price. Any fundraise would include an open offer to accommodate retail investors."

They confirm the market conditions are challenging. This may also be a clue why they need to raise funds as things have not panned out as hoped.

"As per the announcement of 19 January, the Company has significant cash resources."

This sentence is comforting to know and if this was the only sentence in the RNS I think the SP would have shot up....however we can all see that it is a bit contrary to the rest of the narrative within this RNS which is about trying to fund raise.

"Accordingly, there is no immediate need to raise additional capital and the Company may choose not to proceed with a fundraising until such time as conditions are more favourable."

They do not say they won't instigate a fund raise exercise or they may to choose not to but rather they may choose to delay it until market conditions are more favourable.....i.e. I translate this to mean we will do it when the SP is higher.

Now there is an assumption here that the market conditions will become "more favourable" but we all know this isn't guaranteed.

I feel the fund raise is nailed on but ODX are claiming that they can wait until they choose to pull the trigger. If it is done in this manner, in a controlled way when the SP is a lot higher then obviously it bodes well but my fear is that funds are required more urgently than they are letting on and they may not have the luxury to decide when they pull the trigger. A desperate fund raise at these low SP levels will be suicide imo.

So for clarity, and with you I appreciate it needs to be "Janet & John" book clarity....I bought in at around 50p and top sliced (sold half) at around 90p. My intention for my remaining holding was to sell much higher and I stated I would not be selling until it reached £2 (which I thought had contracts been secured it would have achieve comfortably) It has slowly declined since then and I have averaged down periodically until present day. So I am still long, and always have been with varying amounts, for over a year now.

I did notice a lot of "Dam Health care" advertising at the recent Scotland vs England rugby match at Murrayfield.

Kate....now you are posting false information. I am long, I have always been long, and as such I want this share to rise. I would not know how to short this stock, I would not know how to short any stock for that matter. Get that into your dumb head.

I am long and my stance has been that way since my first ever post. I sold some at the very top (top sliced) but after that period I still had a substantial holding and I still wanted it to rise but it didn't. I started to average down on the decline from the peak and all the gains are now gone. No way did I think we would be in single digit territory otherwise I would have sold all of my holdings much higher.

There is no ambiguity in my posts. I am no longer averaging down any more and my stance has changed from a buy to a hold.

and yes I did predict big things from ODX....I don't think I was alone in that thought. Indeed I am sure you may have even been predicting big things too since you invested your hard earn tenner into ODX......unless you were investing in the belief that your investment would drop!!!!!

Anyhow, keep being you won't you Kate, the Kate we all love, the cowardly Kate who never gives any price predictions, the quite dim Kate who never contributes anything worthwhile, the bitter Kate that keeps having digs at others on this BB without provocation.

Another form of forward selling....

I recently took part in the ABDX fundraising. I, like many others, had qualified for a certain amount of shares at a discounted set price of 25p. Shortly after the announcement and prior to receiving your allocation the SP price recovered slightly. At this point there was a lot of selling around the 30p mark by holders in the knowledge that the shares they sold were going to be replenished in the future when their 25p shares came through.

Another form of forward selling I suppose but in a more managed and controlled way.

My point is it is very presumptuous to think the market conditions for ODX will improve isn't it. .... unless that is they know something we don't

To me, this reads like it is definitely going to happen, it is just a matter of when not if. At no point do they state it isn't going to happen.

Time will tell.

Swag.....I am saying this out of hope more than anything else.....do you think there is something in the pipeline that they know about so they will be confident that the SP will spike once this news is released.?

I appreciate if the "something" is big enough then it may negate the necessity to actually seek an equity raise. I simply cannot understand why you would want to destroy an SP if there is a possibility you will require a fund raise.

Please don't even mention the Christmas present (2020) that Colin promised us.
