I am sure that they have answers to all the problems. How the RAN transmits makes very little difference to Ethernity. The more radio links the more data flow opportunities.

The missing link is how the connectivity gets to the drone. A radio link is required as the drone won't be hardwired directly to the network with fibre. The part ethernity plays would be on the ground just the same as it is with masts and towers. The challenge with 5G is bandwidth and poor penetration, reach is short. So from 65000 ft covering 87 sq miles how much power is required?
Take off and landing weather conditions, reliability, continuity of coverage... So many problems

One of those global strategic partners will be TietoEVRY for sure. They are recruiting in Beijing and India currently. They have a large China footprint that they are expanding rapidly. ACEnic-100 will form the centre of their joint solution. They are developing and large go to market vehicle in China

The marketplace for Ethernity is very hot at the moment. We can expect substantial traction from a market reaching the point of decision.

It's important to note tha Huawei are strong supporters of OpenRAN. David said that it was perplexing to see the UK decision to engage alternatives to Huawei because back then OpenRAN was far from certain and Huawei were one of a few Chinese embracing the idea. Publicly Ericsson were providing an end to end system but that excluded them from the worlds largest market.
David knew that they would turn because in China the big three are all committed.
12 months ago I expected 10% of installations to be open and just use the ACEnic-100 on the UPF.
Now I believe that 80% will be open. We will see ACEnic-100 in the UPF, DU and CU.
The requirements of units is up the market is up, the share price is down.
Opportunity is up.

Uk and Europe are immature markets but will grow very rapidly. It will help with the profile of Ethernity to land something close to home but China is where I am looking at the moment.

Hilarious the way vodafone embrace OpenRAN of course they do Ericsson supply their kit and they are diverting to OpenRAN. I don't think that 5G will be commercially viable without OpenRAN. The only option is that the old school OEMs buy up the OpenRAN providers. They have tried that for the last 12 months. Make no mistake OpenRAN is indispensable. Facilitators like Ethernity will be huge.

Uk like most of Europe heading for strict measures or be overwhelmed by the maths. Israel not so but I can't get there at the moment.
Covid avoidance has been a game all summer. Not avoiding covid as that doesn't bother me but avoiding the chaos governments fall back on to remain popular.

Kitlow it's quite an epic story and like all Boom markets they start very subdued and quiet. An access and information explosion is coming. I believe that the good the bad and the ugly will increase significantly if 5G is their business. Ethernity will pick up significant work even if their products are not accepted.
With significant card sales from 2021 mass deployment growing exponentially year on year we will see a very steep income and profit chart. That's looming in the mid term.

So back in February and March when Ethernity were inking an alliance with Nordic TietoEVRY, China Unicom and China Telecom were jointly selecting Nordic Ericsson to supply their Core network.
Wait a minute Ericsson supply end to end network and ran services and 60% of Chinas largest Telecom has signed up. At the time time we are starting to hear about the big 3 China Telecom openly working together to deliver OpenRAN resource engagement contrary to the Ericsson philosophy. We hear that they all intend to use fpga based virtual devices. One of which so far is committed to Ethernity ACEnic-100.
So how can this be that they selected Ericsson over several local providers what's more they selected a provider closed to accepting OpenRAN on its network.
Over the last couple of weeks we are hearing that Ericsson are now positioning for open RAN networks.
What are we to think. I assume that China U&T knew of this all along. Why else would they sign up to it. Actually why would they pick a Nordic supplier over a Chinese.
China currently will be testing 5G in a scale up environment. They will be selecting a list of components that reach the benchmark. Ethernity will be on that list 100% their products will be in OEM ready to market products. They will be in Fiberhome and TietoEVRY alliance ready to market products.
ACEnic-100 the best in class unit will continue to evolve by Ethernity and others into the staple appliance in my opinion.

The 5G picture is still quite murky globally and will become clearer next year. Despite the radio silence from Ethernity I believe that they are holding a great hand with their poker face set. The market cap and share price suggests Ethernity, David and the team is a complete binner.
