At last Ericsson has accepted the inevitable. When David started talking about Open Ran not many others were. Many were in denial and very uncomfortable with all the specialist competition. Open ran is now main stream. Open ran facilitators like Ethernity are the next boom investment.
I tell you now but we have been saying it a while. Seats on this express won't last long.

Dallo £1 is not my medium term expectation much shorter. I don't think that it will take much to reach that.
The technology is validated by the OEMs as far as Ethernity are concerned. It is now for the OEMs to take this tech and enhance it for direct sale into end users.
I would like disclosure on how many OEMs and integrators have it under test or development. Just raw numbers will help. Also some meat on the two global strategic partners that will open up the global market to Ethernity

Certainly no miracles required. The progression to maturity of the sector will carry even the losers up significantly. Market leaders with massive leverage will grow many multiples. I don't think that it will take much to move from here to £1. Certainly I would not be surprised to see it in the near term. Any sniff of sales in China could double the SP overnight. Adoption by one of the major China Telecom as a vendor of choice and £1 will be an easy target.
Given the delays squeezing the price and the likely ramping up of industry noise investors will see Ethernity as a bargain under IPO.
It does look like a late reported sell worked through. It forced the share price up and it is likely to continue that course to 30p in the absence of news.

Yes good progress on no news and poor volume. Order book unmoved but clearly there isn't much competition now and the fallback is 21p. 21/18 I guess. Long way for this to go but we have to start somewhere. In many ways action on no news is the true barometer

That will be to cover an outstanding fee. Happened to me once I didn't top up in time and they traded to recover their fee. Probably linked to the small trade before.

Yes 50k against 10k again small volume but it's overwhelmingly in the right direction. The MMs are getting a bit more confident now and will absorb any selling. Just a matter of time.

16.85/17.75 currently. Despite no change in the 5/4 MMs position I guess that they actually don't have lots of shares. I think that if they want to tempt a seller they will have to be proactive above the mid.

To clarify about one contract leading to another an integrator tasked with network to mobile RAN won't be engaged in the DU or CU but a OEM will very likely want a family of products. Ethernity will be much more attractive to OEM if they lead in several aspects of their market. Commiting to ACEnic-100 will be much easier with a broad suite of solutions. This is a big investment from Ethernity but it is absolutely necessary to stay ahead as a specialist. We have seen several huge names enter the arena, they will sell on being a one stop shop so Ethernity have to be genuinely better to allow their OEMs to compete for business.

It's important to recognise that the Vrouter in the DU is a totally new solution not a upgrade on any previous solution. The is a ACEnic-100 based solution for the distribution unit. The previous Vrouter was a network appliance. This is a totally new field for Ethernity. It is very possible that data could eventually channel through three ACEnic-100 based devices in the UPF, DU and CU. I suspect in the near future we'll see a CU solution. I suspect that many OEMs will base their products on these task built SmartNICs and simply add sector specific code to market a very specific solution.
I like the way they are thinking, broadening the market is crucial to success as one contract leads to another.

Available today with 3rd party software and Ethernity code to follow. Sounds like they tested concept on existing Vrouter software. Another massive new market opens for ACEnic-100.

Kitlow I am wondering that myself. I think that we'll get the heads up in a update announcement like OEMs are gaining traction and commitment from Telecom and end users looking to scale up their service volume. Or something similar. We may get a round up about OEM contract wins but there will be no numbers until Ethernity report revenue and sales. Maybe David can use Proactive to get the word out about how it's shaping and the leverage Ethernity has.
My feeling is, don't under estimate Ethernity market position.

01234 possibly it could be in response to design requirements but it's the natural progression. We'll see others try to combine functions within one server and increase performance at the same time. However they are not as agile as Ethernity and a big ship takes a long turn.

prennie I don't expect 5G contracts. Unless they announce a OEM has a contract and is using Ethernity solutions exclusively. Yes we'll see contract wins for specific functions but much will come through third party sales. As we don't know who they are it's a bit difficult to visualise.

They have the option of a non regulatory release. This is a significant response to new products and new competitors. The industry is starting to see what David saw at IPO.

Leapfrog ahead of the products we have seen a couple of the majors release in the last few weeks. Ethernity are broadening the uses for the technology already developed with functional additions that keep them market leaders.

01234 I expected excitement about this in January 2018 when I bought my first shares. However as we know this is about 18 months behind schedule. In retrospect had this happened earlier then it would have gone ASICs. It needed to mature with ORAN protocols and interoperability agreements. Simply with nothing in place it wouldn't work.
So when will it happen. Certainly investors are now recognising 5G as the next boom. I don't think that the majority are very knowledgeable and will assume it is Nokia, Ericsson and the big boys. They haven't yet figured out that the scraps are very very lucrative. They are assuming like 4G that Telecom will connect and that's the end of it. It will be nothing like 4G.
I believe that Ethernity will get a large percentage of the China market. It won't be from switch on and it won't be direct sales but they will get a big following. Many however won't even know Ethernity is inside.
So how does David raise the profile from here in a depressed UK on a mickey mouse market like the AIM. Tough job. However my fall back position is what would the share price be with a modest £1m profit??
If we can't attach any sense to it then we have to say if it is profitable how much will it be.
However I hope that we start to see several pieces of information that reveal solid opportunity growth. New OEM, new resellers and new Integrators. That will keep the gamblers away and will reassure those looking to take more.

I received a Private message about my last post which I will answer here. In addition to the major coverage network there will be many private, business and community networks. The reason being partly cost and partly performance. Imagine a shopping mall owner. They may want to appeal directly to users and to cover the costs they will sell air time. The car park where spaces are assigned and monitored on IoT. Shops where stock is monitored and replaced on the shakes using IoT. Use by dates of produce is monitored in real time. Payments for good made without going to a checkout. Produce reordered on sale. Produce pre purchased before arrival. No arrival at all.
A factory controlling staff actions in real time, managing the whole production process to iron out bottlenecks.
The uses are endless really. These functions will be 5G but requires Almost zero data centre input. The whole compute is done at the edge.
Cars, street lights, traffic lights, buses personalised advertising.......
These will all be 5G by functions because of latency, anything moving requires precision and cheap mass dataflow.

Once sales start to flow through OEMs we will see the scale of the initial orders. Simply though their will be thousands of networks in China.
