We’ve had this discussion many times. Also you have said that you are well aware of the risks and don’t want them posted on here. Well similarly I am well aware of Avacta potential and the events that need to happen. So I don’t want to continually see a list of them and how they are going to happen before Christmas unless it is based on fact and not some ramptastic wishful thinking.

Before you go off on one, I am not accusing you of the latter. I think we broadly agree on potential and timescales.

As I’ve said time and time again: I am ok with the current CC timescales given the huge potential of Avacta.

I don’t expect any event that will significantly move the SP up or down until at least mid year. If that is FUD so be it. But it’s based to a large extent on what CC has said in last presentation and more importantly the Peel Hunt interview.

So my beef is with the rampers who continually exaggerate Avacta’s short term prospects and totally ignore the risks. They say they are fed up with me posting the risks. Well I’ll stop if they stop posting lists of good news items that are going to happen next week but surprisingly never do.

Slide 45 says Dec 2025. And I did say that in my post

But slide 25 clearly says 2026 for start of P2 in both arms.

My annoyance is with folk on here who continually post over optimistic predictions. TBH you aren’t normally prone to this. And then you get Icecool who then fans the flames of an argument and others who just get a perfectly factual post deleted.

It’s crazy.

For the avoidance of doubt: I can accept Avacta as an excellent investment at current SP and timelines because the potential is mind blowing.

You said CC hadn’t missed a deadline. I pointed out that start of P2 has moved from 2025 to 2026. In my book that’s a missed deadline.

I also said that I wasn’t concerned about it given Avacta’s potential.

But I guess you are so worried about your investment that you have to keep lying about progress.

Most of us do understand the long term potential of Avacta - we have it rammed down our throats by you and others ad nauseam. But many on here (not you surprisingly) continue to big up the potential without regard to the risks as if they don’t exist.

I think that as long as “punt” shares like Avacta only make up 10% of one’s investment portfolio and one has a more rational and measured approach to the other 90% then that’s fine. But again it depends on how deep your pockets are and what you are trying to achieve and over what timescale.

Really really excellent info on pipeline development and why the first two chosen are so groundbreaking. . Thanks for posting.

1. Much better insight into preparation for trials and dealing with FDA/MHRA. Explains why it will take 12 months to get into clinical trials

2. CC’s enthusiasm is off the scale. As I’ve said before I really cannot see a T/O on the horizon unless they guarantee that she’ll keep control of the programme. And she’ll only believe that if she’s very comfortable with suitor. Perhaps Novartis is back in the frame. She isn’t going to be persuaded by any bidding war. There are more important things than money at stake here.

All IMHO. Could have preceded each clause with “I think” but it wouldn’t have stopped the rampers having a go so why bother.

Perhaps if some of us had taken more heed of the likes of Wyndrum then we’d have £50k to invest now at 50p rather than at £1 as we did.

Troublemakers will see my recent post as a deramp but in fact I am just pointing out that there is more than one way to interpret events, facts and company communications. Sometimes viewing them through rose tinted glasses rather than being more cynical is not the best policy.
