As I guess one of the others, I can say I am delighted to see facts supporting the start of enrolment for P1b. I don’t see why I wouldn’t be. Anything that stops the continual analysis of Avacta communications usually resulting in a hyper ramp is definitely a good thing.

Are you saying that in a fund raise the price isn’t related to the current SP in any way? I can’t see how that works although ABDX did try a raise at just above current SP with mixed results. Last Avacta raise was at less than half SP. As far as I can see we all want the SP to be as high as possible before the next raise in order to limit dilution.

However I’d like to hear your alternative argument.

I agree with a lot of what you post. But in this case you are wrong. The story is in an interview that CC gave. I’m not reposting it because for some reason you just keep ignoring it. If you wan to look it up it was referenced in a post by Lovable in mid November. And no TNBC was not selected on a whim.

It was one of CC’s favourite slides at the beginning of the year where the graph shows that the level of antitumour activity is not necessarily higher in high FAP tumours than it is in mid FAP tumours like TNBC.

She didn’t suddenly wake up one morning and think “some tumours in the trials so far aren’t responding too well, I know we’ll give TNBC patients a go. Like you seem to be implying.

Then when the breast clinic oncologist said “we can kill the tumours but many patients die from the collateral damage on their organs” coupled with the massive number of TNBC patients out there. That is wasn’t a hard choice to say let’s put a number of these into P1b. Also I would be very surprised if said breast clinic would be over the moon to supply patients or even run part of the trial.

All IMHO of course until I’ve run it past ChatGPT.

Now you are being a Pratt. I paraphrased what CC said but I think it was along the lines of that an oncologist she new from previous work approached her at the xxxxxx conference or whatever and explained the issue he was having with patients returning to his clinic after chemotherapy had destroyed the breast tumours only to die from the collateral damage. Given the realisation that AVA6000 could be efficacious against TNBC she saw the opportunity for not just AVA6103 but also 6000. It’s all there in the transcript that someone posted on here.

In all likelihood it’s the same oncologist that gave that great interview last week.

It’s not about the highest bid. It’s about who CC trusts as a partner and who will help her fulfil her destiny. It really isn’t about just money. If you can’t see that then there’s no hope for you. You talk about bidding wars and we’ve no evidence at all of BP falling over eachother to make acceptable bids at all at the moment.
