You are right. The issue for investors is the loss of return from a company you could have invested in in the meantime.

But if the mechanism actually somehow prevents tumours returning then that really is a complete game changer. And much to be celebrated.

Why can’t something like this get into one of those features on cancer treatment that the likes of The Mail publishes from time to time?

If you are including me then I do worry about how experienced an investor you are.

Nothing posted on here affects the SP. And I certainly don’t want my investment to drop anymore than it has already.

The reason my posts are mostly negative it to offset the mostly baseless wishful ramps that often elude to an imminent wealth or riches. If you are a long term reader of this BB then you will know that these Uber ramping predictions have never come to fruition whereas the scenarios I have predicted often have.

A quick look at my posting history disproves that. What I do try to do is, given that on the surface Avacta has a huge amount going for it, why we are where we are? Going by what we are told it makes little sense.

Still there will be no room for obfuscation when P1b results start emerging.

I agree that this could be another factor. Back in the early 70s we specified various computer solutions but there was a saying “nobody ever got fired for choosing IBM”!!!!!

My reason for posting (now deleted - oh what fun) was to point out that big pharma are keen to jump ahead of solutions involving precisely directed tumour killers with the possibility that cancer will return to invest in immunology or genetic cancer cures. If you can’t understand why that is a more attractive target for there cash right now then you really are short sighted.

BEFORE you lay into me - great early P1b results could change all that because as you point out the timescales for AVA6000 are much shorter than an immunological cure. But big pharma have to look decades ahead as well.

Excellent news for us LTH but disappointing market reaction ☹️

A lot of things have changed since the RNS for the fund raise last year. We are progressing the pipeline drugs because they show the most promise. The money has to come from somewhere and unless we can hold off until the first P1b results are released, then it isn’t going to be pretty. I’m saving some cash ready to invest.
