I don’t honestly see it falling back much now. We are too close to getting first P1b results.

I don’t think that the comparison with when in the development cycle small biotech startups usually sell out is in any way useful.

What Avacta have potentially hasn’t been seen since penicillin! CC isn’t going to sell out so that she can start inventing another drug. What would compare with the ride Avacta is going to have over the next 10 - 20 years. Neither is she going to sit in the sun watching reruns of Phillies games. You all know that don’t you.

The point is that the results so far are not enough to convince big investors to stump up the cash. Hence P1b, P2 and maybe even P3. Though P1b results should be enough to be pivotal in that regard. The whole purpose of clinical trials is to prove it works and gather data preproduction. Duh!

All this talk of takeovers is annoying. As I keep saying (and so do more of you now) CC isn’t a “business person” as such. She is a scientist and she wants to take this phenomenon all the way and bask in the glory.

P1b results should get us licence deal for AVA6000 which will fund the real golden goose AVA6103 right through into production.

Finally got rid of DX providing cash runway until P1b results give us the SP boost needed and open the doors to other great things.

And best of all confirmation that P1b dosing has started. You can’t imagine the relief I feel. It’s gonna be a great weekend.

Explain to me why they have to come off AIM before they list on NASDAQ.

I would have thought:

Boost SP

Dual listing on NASDAQ thus raising more cash

Close AIM listing and buy back shares further down the line

Yes total egg on face

But very happy that P1b started and that we have cash to take us through to the point where some good P1b results will have boosted the SP to the point where we dual listing on NASDAQ.

PS. Not sure that 7 March is imminently after 17 January but I’m happy today so I’ll let that one go😄😄😄😄

They will fund raise as soon as P1b results boost the SP. But IMHO it will be in the form of the dual listing on NASDAQ.

As I see it, the update is within that RNS. Otherwise why add that detail in the RNS under the sale of Launch item?

I would guess IceCool is right- we won’t be told when P1b started dosing now because there’s been a significant delay.
