Just been over on ABDX to pick up fallout from today’s interims. I know some on here are also invested.

Same sort of “fog” and concerns as here being voiced. But the tone of the discussion is entirely different. Both positive and negative possibilities being discussed without anger abuse and personal attacks. It puts this BB to shame.

I have a significant (for me) holding that I have mentioned in a number of posts. I have also said I haven’t made any buys or sells in over two years(apart from last years fund raise) until the last RNSs derisked this for me.

Over the last two years instead of investing in Avacta and watching my investment fall, I have enjoyed decent capital gains elsewhere.

So what do you mean? Or is this just the general continued acrimony and need to have an argument???

I’ve certainly been making money on mainstream shares like RR over past two years rather than p*sing it down the drain on Avacta. And that’s the point of being a seasoned investor.

. . . but the SP does have an impact as far as CLN is concerned.

Yes you can lower your average cost but you are putting more capital at risk. If you already have a substantial holding it’s just greed to add at the moment or unless it’s a hedge against dillutitive fund raising.

I thought it was a serious question. Silly me I forgot you are a disruptive troublemaker for a moment. It won’t happen again.

Deal already struck with Novartis subject to P1b results.

I see lots of great potential in this share. And I don’t even mind the list of great things that hopefully will happen being posted here on an almost daily basis.

But it’s the utter denial of the risks that still exist that irritates me. That and the assertion by the lunatics, almost every week for the past four years, that some pivotal event will launch the SP into space next week. The fact that it hasn’t and the SP has just continued to fall does nothing to shake their naivety and when you point the facts out they just turn nasty.

To finish on a positive point. The most recent news of P1b start of dosing and sale of DX providing cash to give some breathing space has derisked this investment a lot for me and hence why I bought a few shares. Until then I had neither bought or sold in over two years apart from last years fund raise when I bought to offset dilution.

When you see a positive interpretation, why is it wrong for me to be cautious and highlight the risks? Especially when my predictions have largely been more accurate?

You know that nothing will happen until decent P1b results. Admittedly the potential partner will see these before we do but not this month.
