A rather obvious answer. But why the number of dose escalations and the pivot to 2 week dosing. When we were told 4 or 5 cycles. I for one wasn’t expecting it. And if someone tells me again that it was because the results were unexpectedly exceptional (despite having full knowledge of the rat results) I shall scream.

Sorry. Couldn’t resist it. There are three parallel paths leading to the P2 dosing regimes. I took it as either 385 AVA6000 or 200 perhaps depending on tumour type. But a decision yet to be made. And like a lot of communications from Avacta, suitably confusing.

This is the stuff that delusional rampers love. The first figure is AVA6000, the second is the doxorubicin payload. The most obvious conclusion is that it is an error on a poorly proof read slide and should be 385/260 as above.

How is it that you know that AVA6000 works and yet far more experienced BP, IIs and the FDA are not convinced that it works well enough yet?

Care to tell us your qualifications, experience and how you have got hold of the detailed clinical data?

I am invested because I think that at the moment 40p is a good price and I am expecting the SP to rise on good P1b results. But I am not expecting Avacta to distribute a dividend in the next 10 years. All earnings will need to be ploughed back into R&D over this timeframe. So it is impossible to accurately put a PV on it even without guessing a chance of success in clinical trials which are disappearing over the horizon. When do you think P3 for AVA6103 will finish?

Those of you that think that they will be millionaires anytime soon are just delusional.

Clearly that isn’t rue because the SP is 40p.

And I didn’t say there wouldn’t be a deal. I said there wouldn’t be a takeover. There will be a licensing deal for AVA6000 when P1b results are good enough.

One (of a small number) of things we agree on - Avacta is not for sale. I have been rubbishing the takeover bidding wars fantasy for a couple of years now based on the background and attitude of both Al(RIP) and now CC. They both wanted the experience and thrill and sense of fulfilment of bringing a novel life saving family of drugs to market not a few more dollars in their pockets.

I await the barrage of abuse.

If the SP jumps 300% it will be because of new facts that change the whole picture not because they ignored or overlooked the facts prior to that point

I must have missed your apologies over the past couple of years for continually encouraging people to buy more shares because we will never again get a chance to buy at these prices. And yet the SP just continued to fall?

My next door neighbour has been trying to sell their house unsuccessfully for over 12 months. Lovely house and they’ve done a load of work on it. Problem is that their fundamental valuation which is hard to dispute is much higher than the market valuation. At the end of the day, the house is worth what someone is willing to pay. Perhaps they are hoping for a bidding war.

But the same logic applies to Avacta. Right now it’s worth about 40p per share.

But the presentation clearly supports what the more cautious on here have been saying for over a year and clearly not what the delusional rampers have been predicting.

The presentation is excellent in that it is the clearest summary of progress so far and intentions and timelines. I can’t wait for IceCool to post his rebuttal.
