Why do you carry on misquoting me to suit your own argument?

I said I expected it to be 450 by the end of the year and that rampers had influenced that expectation. I also said I still expect 300 by end of the year. I’m not bitter. Avacta doesn’t make up the majority of my portfolio. (Though I must admit Lithium has dropped like a stone). As for the length of time I’ve been investing it’s a lot longer than 20 years. It was from the time that Sid told us to buy British Gas. But my early years were poor because I was intent on trying to make a quick buck.

And just for the record I didn’t say I started investing in Avacta at the start of the year but I have increased my holding somewhat since then.

13th you’ve got a long memory. But that wasn’t the ticker was it. There still is a US market that Avacta is listed on and it was the ticker I cited

I thought SP was 250 or more when we were included so won’t get back in yet

I don’t claim to provide balanced posts. In the same way that the rampers don’t provide balance in their posting.

I don’t claim to understand biotech. I have been badly burned in the past by a technology share that went wrong. I am an investor not a trader out for a quick profit. Over 20 years of investing I have achieved an average combined return of 11% year on year, though of course there have been loss years.

I suspect that the derampers on here are long term investors who are invested well within their comfort zones. Never invest more than you can afford to lose. And that the abusers are well in over their heads and constantly need comforting by “singing the company song”.

I have said for my investment I had hoped to treble it by year end = 450p. I think I was borne along by the hype around the start of the year that is why I am super sensitive to ramping.

I am still hopeful we will get to 300p but not on any logic.

I can wait much longer for a regular dividend from Avacta.

For AVA6000 that it gets into mass production at an affordable price and saves lives.

For Ava 6000 or Avacta. They are different but obviously related

. . . but I don’t feel the need to abuse insult and belittle them. That is the main difference between the ramping tribe and the deramping tribe. I wonder why that is.

Far less than the rampers on here relentlessly chant the quotes of chairman Al. Don’t you get tired of those as well.

Success for Avacta comes in stages. A number of hurdles that drugs have to jump to come to market. I believe Avacta will jump all those hurdles or I wouldn’t be invested. But I am keen to point out that it is not a gimme. There is a long way to go yet.

That’s all.

And BV you accuse me of not having a sense of humour

. . . and to think, they got all the way to phase 3 trial convinced they had a winner and all the shareholders would be millionaires. How the hell could that happen?

I haven’t said it doesn’t work. Why is it hard for the ramping gang to understand that I haven’t said it doesn’t work. But in technology that often takes a long time to mature into a profitable range of products. And no amount of wishing will speed that up.

You have good points. I will try to keep quiet (you will see that I have posted very little lately).

We obviously see investing differently. I see posts that in most cases logically explain using facts as to why the SP is where it is and we won’t be millionaires tomorrow as helpful. None of these things are saying that it doesn’t work or won’t be massive in the future.

His post was asking a series of questions about “why has Al said this, why has Al said that” if Ava6000 didn’t work. I just reminded us that he had form and has done it before.

Yes I know this is a very different product with so much going for it. But it is still the same old Al.
