Anyone like to own up as to why my post earlier this afternoon was deleted? I asked what people’s thoughts hopes expectations were in addition to half yearly figures and offered mine as follows:

I would like to hear a clear strategy. Hopefully that JVs are about to be signed for AVA6000/3996 and the resulting monies used to accelerate development of 2nd and 3rd generation prodrugs. That way AVA6000/3996 will likely get into hospitals a lot more quickly and start saving lives. The BoD will be able to concentrate their attention/resources on the stunning new prodrugs and not be distracted by first generation drugs.

As usual my less than excited reaction to a podcast that was largely what we have been told already has been twisted just to have an argument. My original post led with a comment praising CC’s clear explanation. But the rampers didn’t argue with that

I think you’ve forgotten about excretion of AVA6000

The thing is the interview told us nothing we didn’t know, although as I said earlier it was the cleared explanation of the science we have had yet.

I am concerned that we won’t get any more on 30th. Have to wait for the Science Day for the big reveal perhaps.

A personal attack is one where you attack the person or their character not what the person does.

An example: if I say that something you post is stupid that is OK if I call you a stupid twat then that is a personal attack.

Excellent interview and explanation. But again nothing new except perhaps pushing start of P2 further back in 2025. But again we knew that already. Unless CC talks about the financials on 30th this will just slide

I largely agree -as I do with most of your serious posts. But she has changed some senior figures and I would expect to see some clarity in her communications that we never got with Alistair.

The main source of bitterness and vile personal attacks on here is because the communications when read against the backdrop of current events can be interpreted as both positive and negative.

You profess to be a seasoned well researched investor. In which case you know very well that a company’s history is important in forming a view. What CC reports on 30th is going to be fundamental to regaining trust in Avacta management.

You say investors have the intelligence to make up their own minds (or words to that effect). But how can they when all they see on here is a positive analysis of the events and facts and anything containing a contrary view gets drowned out in personal attacks or deleted.
