CC herself has said we need more data in order to attract a deal that she would agree and that that won’t be available until some way into P2. Until then the SP will just Bob along except for the odd spikes and dips driven by traders.

I’ve explained my position with regard to Avacta many times. And more recently explained why I analyse their communications pessimistically in order to assess risk. This doesn’t make me anti Avacta and i certainly don’t want them to fail for many reasons. I review all my investments pessimistically when assessing risk.

Many on here have adjusted their view of Avacta as time has passed and new facts materialise. I certainly don’t hold a share forever if the emerging situation leads me to adjust my view of the shares prospects.

I’m all for free speech . The rampers can ramp all day as far as I’m concerned and as long as they recognise that I will reply if I agree or disagree. If you are happy with continual ramps then you need to accept there will be continual deramps. Free speech.

What is wrong is to keep having posts you disagree with deleted. That is Wyn’s point. Also what is wrong is the potty mouthed character assassinations.

Nice to hear from you. You post so infrequently that I thought I’d check back through your posts. (Yeah, sorry I don’t have to work either). I’m surprised you have chosen to criticise WYN’s post because as far as I can see both your views of Avacta’s prospects seem remarkably similar. I certainly wouldn’t put you in the rampers camp.

Despite the rampers view that I am paid to knock Avacta, that isn’t true. Why would I? I haven’t bought or sold for two years now (apart from the offer earlier this year) and have a significant portion of my investment portfolio in Avacta.

As I posted before: it is the BoD’s job to paint Avacta in the best possible light. The investors should analyse what’s said and take a pessimistic view. The truth hopefully lies somewhere in between.

As I said then. We just ignore what CC said about what needs to be done to impress BP in order to secure a good deal under her terms. And her predicted timescale of sometime into P2. I only got into IT because I enjoyed programming. The industry was new at the time so promotion was rapid. And therefore I soon left programming behind. Only solution was to become a hobby geek.

My media computer is rapid quad processor, 40Tb mixed HD and SSD, 6 independent tuners (terrestrial and satellite), security cameras and sensors and heating and smart home devices, running Media Center/Kodi and independently streaming media throughout my house to TVs projector and sound systems , mobile devices and cars.

In short not something you can buy off the shelf.

The rules are if CC says something we like then she is a brilliant new CEO. If CC says something less than optimistic that we don’t like then she is naive or lying or both.

Well the sun is out and I’m building a new media computer today so let’s hope for a nice rise to further improve my happiness

I have no beef with your optimism but stop bad mouthing those of us that don’t agree. I am about to have my 75 birthday and have plenty of spare time and an excellent pension and investment portfolio beyond just company shares thanks to many years of shrewd investing.

You have to take a balanced view considering everything. I have been burned a number of times when I fell in love with a dead cert. This has taught me to be far more cautious.

Al left because his stated aim was to see AVA6000 (his baby) right the way through clinical trials. But others had realised that in order to achieve the full potential of the platform full focus needed to be on progressing the next generations. Al wouldn’t agree to that. He wouldn’t consider a JV for AVA6000 and said as much though he did say that AVA3996 deal was likely to ease funding. The new kids disagreed so Al had to go.
