A short quiz. Which category of poster are you;

1. One who reads all Avacta comms optimistically and then happily predicts greater things into them

2. One who reads them pessimisticaly and then considers the investment risk

3. One who seeks news and other excellent input from other posters

4. One who just likes a fight and singles out an item in someone else’s just to have an argument

5. One who just likes to display their wealth of swear words and launch personal attacks against another’s character

I am in 2 nd category. Categories 1-3 all add to the usefulness of this BB.

I was referring to his last post where he levelled an accusation against Thorn.

Nothing to do with any other post.

As I said I am trying to turn over a new leaf because of the clarity of the recent presentation but I guess it’s futile because this BB is tribal and so there will always be someone who seeks to read something in my post to argue about. Anyway as long as you do that civilly and in good humour I am fine with that.

Given that Thor gets quite a few likes and, even though you don’t like it, his analysis of the situation is often close to what is actually happening, then I think quite a few people are interested in what he has to say. It would be short sighted not to.

The thing of it is that it is the BoDs job to paint any particular situation and prospects in the best possible light without actually lying. Any savvy investor will recognise this and probe what has been said to analyse whether it makes sense given other factors and explore what is the worst interpretation. This is especially true if the SP doesn’t seem to reflect the story. The truth is somewhere between these upper and lower limits. But if you take what the BoD says and add even more hype to it then that is seldom going to end well as we have seen.

This doesn’t just apply to Avacta. It should apply to all your investment decisions.

I agree. And that with clinical study findings already released and the promise of the customisable next generations in the pipeline, are all excellent things to be happy about

. . . and thank heavens that today both tribes have become more tolerant of ‘opposing’ views.

I’d like to think that most people on here want to be alerted to new information with perhaps an analysis of that information from other posters. I would hope that the analysis would give both positive and negative interpretations in order to present balance. and maybe enable others to do a bit of their own research (not just into Avacta but the competitors) and make informed investment decisions.

So can we stop it being an Avacta fan club. Or an Avacta knocking club and also stop encouraging the wind up merchants and those that launch personal attacks. It’s not clever or grown up and spoils it for those that want a rational discussion about Avacta.

Sadly I agree and unlike Ice I won’t be buying any more for the moment there are better places to get a shorter term return.

I use CHATGPT a lot, for summarising texts, for answering questions that are difficult to Phrase, to write bedtime stories for my grandchildren, etc

But I have learned that you can manoeuvre it into giving you the answer you want with clever manipulation.

So our not so new super heroine dealt with questions horribly because she was honest. I don’t believe you lot.

And Ice continues to dissect every word and nuance so that he can put a different spin on it.

Ice if you play the last 40 seconds backwards you can clearly hear CC saying that a top deal is being signed next week for $4B up front and mega monthly fees.

Now do give it a rest. I know it wasn’t what you wanted to hear (and for that matter it wasn’t what I wanted to hear) but we are in for a longer wait. Let’s hope that we get some good clinical trial results half way through P2.

I agree entirely but not when the predictions are ludicrous. I happily keep quiet when they are founded in fact. In fact they cheer me up because they give me hope that I will make decent profit long term. And even better, lives will be saved.

I naively thought that yesterday’s presentation and Q&A would bring this BB together but I should have known that certain posters on here just like to wind others up.

CC made it clear that nothing that is likely to positively impact the SP will happen until some P2 results are available. But the delusional are still expecting the next Spotlight to trigger something or a deal to drop out of the blue tomorrow. This proves the old adage that no one learns anything from history.

Best strategy when investing is to just read the ramping posts. That way you don’t get concerned when things don’t seem to be progressing according to plan.

I’ve never said or implied that FDA won’t make a decision it’s a question of when. I can’t remember how long you’ve been telling us that the decision is imminent. Also it’s no good pushing for a decision now because the answer would be “NO”. We need great P2 results to be coming through before FDA will say “YES”.

Also 5 years ago it was a different story. Time does matter and we are a couple of years off AVA6000 hitting hospitals. Tik tok.

Regarding SP and getting AVA6000 over the line, a JV is the best solution but CC seems to think we need some P2 results to achieve the best bargaining position.

I’ve been pointing this out for weeks but all I get is abuse from the knowledgeable well researched posters on here.

BP wary because doxorubicin has a bad press. Even AVA6000 isn’t side effect free. But problem is that often cancer returns after treatment. I posted the stats in a previous post. Whereas the alternative treatments promise a permanent cure. And AI is bringing down their costs. Sorry some on here have closed their ears/eyes to the AI revolution that is going on.
