WTP yes I agree it is significant that Prof. Ottensmeier is going to ASCO himself, (I'm sure he has much else to do!) and as you say, the interesting leaks from MM have dried up. Johnny's supposition - 'I suspect (and hope) that more positive trial data has emerged from other patients'- that's encouraging and would explain the confidence shown in the news release by Clatterbridge.

Confident about my investment here and as usual, hoping for news next week! GLA

BioNTech are moving forward with their mRNA vccine for pancreatic cancer :-

The mRNA vaccines are developed by BioNTech, which also created the widely used Pfizer Covid shot with the same technology, are individually tailored to each recipient. Half of the patients showed an increased level of T Cells, white blood cells responsible for fighting diseases. I'm not sure if these words from the Clatterbridge piece have been highlighted here before, but if so, worth another look IMO - from Trish Shannon - "I don’t think I’d been here now if I was not on this clinical trial – I’ve felt like all the planets lined up for me." I'm sure Trish will forgive us for our earlier 'intrusions' .

IMO it's impossible to construe, that this will prove to be, a unique success. GLA

WTP - had this been the case as you say - "it's a significant (first) release of mainstream media" - the item would have come out via RNS and ProActive etc., as usual.

IMO the Echo piece is just a bit of regional news gathering, which however, is quite likely to spread further as you say, which is why I would now expect something from Scancell soon.

AB I agree with you that this is unlikely to be a Scancell initiative and to that end I just replied to Ivy over there :-

"For me simple - it's happened and it's good to see. It might be a leak and Scancell can't shut it down, so Scancell have 'gone along' with it. I doubt it indicates that Scancell are opening up but now I guess there will likely be an official update asap. I always thought that if ModiFY works it would be difficult to keep it quiet, particularly as more enter the trial."
