Crumbs when the previous RNS came out you were persistently negative and implied a significant walkaway. It's good to know you gained from that, well done. As said, it's 'the AIM game'. Glad to know you yourself got back in OK and made a profit.

That's heartfelt stuff Bojo - I get it. I wouldn't question the honesty of Bermuda's posts at all. Crumbs, even reading your comments now, I feel you have over-reacted to that RNS e.g. you post "I'm not saying I'm not seeing any super potential here". However the RNS was disappointing in presentation and included Modi 1 news that was less exciting than hoped for. But all else is still in play and so is Modi 1.

As for being able to buy back in when good news drops - good luck with that!

The slight collapse of sentiment here in the last few weeks has been an over-reaction IMHO, supported profoundly by some trolling for which some eminent Posters provided free ammo !

AB I suspect that in 2012, the percentage of PI was much higher than 24% and of course the Immunotherapy World was not dominated so much by 'MRNA thinking'. Also Scancell PI and watchers might have had a greater level of unalloyed optimism ? Those factors might explain the 'coincidence' you observe.

On another part of the current discussion, I wonder what it was that precipitated the departures of CH, JC and later RG that left the CEO role so all embracing. I guess we may never know but the arrival of the new BDO is obviously very important. And imminent.

I'm still confident in all this but at 76, want some time left to enjoy/disperse my spoils - if they ever arrive !

AB, I put it to you in a non-combative way that I doubt that the 'Patient details' discussed here and there before, affected that small % of the 24% SH, (the PI's) who post here and there, in truth actually moved the SP then, or even later when the Liverpool Echo went public.

Hello Crumbs - I was sorry to see the very title of this thread. For me I just can't see that Prof. Lindy as CEO can be looked at that way - demonstrated by the progress we have made in recent years despite restricted operating through Covid times and getting the science into trials. And with JC/CH/RG having moved on, I trust Lindy's judgement of the way forward now with J-C C.

Maybe Modi1 hasn't performed exactly as we expected but the Patients are at an advance stage of disease and I'm sure Lindy will doggedly pursue ways to progress the science. Anyway, the 44% with the ovular cancer is itself exciting.

With 4 platforms in play, Scancell is certainly not 'Poundland' - this SP is giveaway ! I wouldn't worry about the delay in the arrival of the new BDO - obviously all concerned felt he/she was worth the wait.

IMO the reaction to the RNS has been verging on the absurd.

Criticism of the 'interview' is overstated too and I'm not in favour of moves for an 'Investors Meeting'. Suggestions that BoD don't care about PI are IMO, simply insulting.

Things will look up soon with exciting news, always around the corner LOL.

C11 I have to say I agree with you about Crumb's post . . . . .

Prof. Lindy is the beating heart and soul of the Scancell project and if you don't believe that, why would you be here ? PI's are 24% of the SH (?) so we are important but minor. With all the science on the go and J-C Cossery around, new BDO to come, deals around, there's much going on.

I have been surprised to see many Posters this week casting aspersions which I tend to believe are unjustified. We tie ourselves up here in mysterious speculations to the point of pain.

The idea that the RNS was a response to PI impatience I find fanciful to say the least.

Coming back to Crumb's post, I was surprised, but we are all entitled not to get it right all the time. Even the most illustrious.

So wait on - the science is still there. 4 platforms with massive potential. A new BDO arriving soon. Sep 23rd in the Diary.

Who has been selling we don't know of course.

Yes the rodents are leaving the ship to drown themselves in choppy seas. There was plenty in the RNS to give some more optimism - (and my birthday present from Scancell), but it was not the blockbuster RNS we might have yearned for.

In the ProActive interview, Prof. Lindy apparently 'couldn't comment in detail' but Scancell do receive regular updates from Genmab and 'at the last update everything was going really well and they continue to really like the antibodies so that's very positive and we're quite excited about that' - (E & O E). Scancell have just signed 'an evaluation with a new Company for 6 months and there are discussions with a second company about a new deal' - those efforts are 'ongoing' and I guess the BDO will accelerate that progress from Sep onwards. It seems there's plenty to go for there !

Cleaner I much enjoyed your 20.50. I think the reaction to Prof. Lindy's address has been more than a little overstated by some but that's just MHO.

The approach of the 'Patents cliffs' is material to Scancell's wider progress and I see no reason for gloom - other than it seems to be, 'wait on', again. Our nerves are to be tested yet again! So be it. ATB

Crumbs re. 20.55 I very much agree. I thought Prof. Lindy did well enough and as to any reservations about her demeanour, she seemed to be talking into a remote connection. IF so, (?) that would explain it for me, Prof. Lindy always shines brightly in face to face situations and no doubt will again.

Your own 20.51 comments were helpful and spot on. I'm not sure where the second long para quoted comes from (?) but it's very reassuring that Scancell now have their priorities well set on the vaccines.

We already have Genmab in hand and the arrival of the BDO will, hopefully, result in further action on the Avidimab/Glycans front and more deals to take the finance through to 2025 and beyond.

As for the SP - IMO it is not representative of the value already in Scancell, let alone the prospects. GLA
