BS, EE and others have posted details about how the trial data is likely to released. We have to wait.

Happily there might be news from any of the platforms, arriving any day, from a direction we can't spot by speculation. I keep looking daily LOL

Meantime I think it would be good for Scancell to spend a little time and resource
giving us what updates they can, because rightly or wrongly, a lot of us are long invested and heavily committed here. (I'm sure Scancell are aware and respect that).

It'd be good to see a face in an interview even if there is nothing specific to reveal - investor relations. Say ProActive or better still, Sky News again.

I agree with you and others WTP - news IS being kept scarce !

Virtuous calls for patience are fair enough but I enjoyed this from Bojo 17.51 : "Scancell . . . . . . . . . . . are in the process of defining themselves. Of course they will not ramp but they must remain aware and alert to opportunities. Communicating with the market is critical."

We have to bear in mind that Prof. Lindy must be SO busy with all the things we KNOW are going on and maybe with the things we DON'T KNOW are going on !

IMO there are grounds for hope that there will be an update from the ModiFY trial or something else this month. Whatever - GLA

Yes Violin me too BUT the science is just the same as last week - it's just the waiting!! I'd have thought that each single arm of Scancell science has the potential, all being well, to be worth £1 a share.

EE agreed about the 'significance' (or not) of RG expediting his options at this time - I was commenting on an earlier post.

Re. RG? Yes we've known for some time he's been on 'extra time'. We'll see.

EE yes maybe so. One might also wonder if a CBO or similar is already identified and serving their notice elsewhere and for some reason, it cannot be announced yet? Maybe that's behind the sudden 'retirement' of RG. I'm purely speculating.

Another point is that Scancell have proved they can make deals as they are (GenMab) and as no-one can talk about the science like Prof. Lindy, the 'powers that be' are happy with that atm.

"Scancell Holdings plc (AIM: SCLP), the developer of novel immunotherapies, announces an application has been made to AIM for a block listing of 2,880,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"). This will be used to facilitate the admission of Ordinary Shares to trading following the exercise of options granted on the basis of one share per share option. The Ordinary Shares will be issued from time to time pursuant to the Company's existing share options plan for Richard Goodfellow for outstanding options already issued but not yet exercised by Richard Goodfellow. New Ordinary Shares issued following option exercises and admitted to trading under the block admission will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary Shares.

The block listing is expected to become effective on 20 April 2023. The Company will make six-monthly announcements of the utilisation of the block admission, in line with its obligations under AIM Rule 29."

Violin 20.58 - "Scancell needs to start being run like a business and not a science lab." Agreed - but it's because Scancell has been such a successful science lab that we are maybe about to discover (this year) that we DO have a business! So much has been achieved science wise, on limited funding. More could have been done to propagate the news of the potential we have, but it seems, we can't have it all, yet . . . . of course, RG used to 'twitter' a little but we have lost that now.

Konar 16.51 etc. - thanks for the reminder about what a 'Poster Presentation' actually is - (this has often been brought up over the years). Why don't they rename as 'Poster Display' which is less misleading?

Johnny 13.37 - I hope you are right that we will get an RNS update this week but it seems Prof. Lindy will not be 'getting up to speak'? She will be attending her poster and discussing with all-comers amongst which it's likely, will be the eminent Keith Flaherty MD - and many other important Folks no doubt.

Iofas 22.35 - "Really puzzling what could be the motives of LD is not taking the podium." I'm sure Prof.Lindy would be on the podium had she been invited - if the data is good, that's surely a possibility next year?

As for what might be coming around the corner - who knows? Scancell CAN put a deal together as we saw with GenMab last year. We won't know what it is until it arrives. GLA

AB 07.00 - you mention Bermuda pointing out - 'something along the lines of "don't expect any new information because the submissions had to be in ages ago." ' Yes that was spot on as ever. A lot of the wider discussion at that time was about the possibility of new 'news' transpiring around AACR time and I suppose we might yet see something next week but who knows ? It was suggested that a 'deal' of some kind might be highlighted at this good time BUT IMO that was always unlikely and would have required a rare stroke of coincidence.

Is it probable that an RNS re. AACR would be timed for release, time zone USA ?

Ref. the Vulpes assessment - 'need more dedicated commercial experience'. I was surprised to see that point made. Vulpes are after all, represented on the BoD and surely in a position of influence and yet to date, there has been no sign of action.

I'm wondering if the CBO replacement for RG, (who we learn after all, has not retired, rather he's left Scancell), is actually going to transpire at all now. The sort of Guy/Gal who can move in these circles of science with authority is going to be pricey. I'd guess to pick up a body of this calibre we'd have to pay Pharma type salaries which might be well in excess of what our own superstar is paid.

No one can talk about the science and it's possibilities in the way that Prof. Lindy can and if the data comes through, as we hope it will, there will be approaches, some maybe as a result of Dr Jean-Michel's or Redmile/Vulpes ministrations and that may take us straight through to negotiations with Business Lawyers and Financial Consultants to help in any negotiations.

I am unsure that more dedicated commercial nous is coming, at this stage anyway . . . .
